Salmon'Eye's love towards her leader is platonic. Growing up with Patches'Star were the happiest moments of Salmon's life as Patches'Star was always there for her and they braved many fights and battles together. After a devastating defeat towards an enemy clan at the cliff, Salmon'Eye was injured. Patches immediately demanded a Medicine Cat to look after her and care for Salmon'Eye although her wound wasn't painful. There were many times where Salmon jumped into the heat of a battle to fend off other felines just to protect her leader, her best friend. Salmon'Eye now runs along side her best friend and protects RedwoodClan with their lives.
