Welcome to the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project
Euphorian Thoroughbreds are a rare string of the Thoroughbred breed. They come from a single farm simply called “Euphoria” that has horses with mutated genes. These allow them to be able to possess any realistic coat or markings. Everything else about the sub-type is the same. Long, strong legs, a powerful hind, and great speed. Their eyes are soft and the breed is incredibly smart, if not a bit goofy. They love kids and have the rare ability to excel in any discipline. They can grow from 15hh-18hh, though usually somewhere in the middle.
The horses readopted through the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project are looking for a new loving home and a new job. They’ve tried racing and have either retired or decided the sport wasn’t for them. Either way, they are ready for the next chapter in their life. Some of these horses will come with a little training already, and will have their new discipline already determined. Although others you’ll get to pick how they move forwards!

Competition: This little lady is a HUGE Doctor Who fan, but not so much of the doctor, but of the master - and of Missy. If you've never seen a mary poppins-esc character wave around her umbrella and yell at tin men, please, I beg of you, find your nearest source of Missy and just fall in love. Horse Missy, on the other hand, has a very fancy barn, and the best handler ever. Fisher, on a rainy day, will loop up the clunky old television set, and play all her favourite (rather nerdy, but she loves it all too much to care) shows, movies and even occasionally radio shows. Fisher sits on a crate and braids Little's mane and tail, and they both just jammmmm to Missy being iconic for a very long time - or al least until the rain goes away

xxxxdestiny, who went by the name of lady at the time, was not an ideal racehorse. she placed dead last in each of the races her old owner tried to put her in. one day, her owner got so frustrated that he hadn't been able to win anything with her that he was about to sell her off to the first person who asked. thankfully, someone from MVE had been at the race that day looking for potential horses to buy, and overheard this. they asked to try her right then and there since he was so keen on selling her, to see if she could work for the barn. while trying her, she was an absolute angel. they even asked for some beginner dressage moves and she was able to do them first try without difficulty, despite never having attempted before. it was like it was her destiny to do dressage rather than racing, which is the origin of her name. had she not been noticed at that show, she would've most likely ended up as some pasture horse instead of the professional dressage master she is today. the environment at the track was not something that even remotely interested her and the fast-paced nature of racehorses was not her style at all. she's also super sweet and loves children, so she's sometimes swapped in for beginner lessons when they need a horse since she's so patient and willing to listen.

Competition: when gateau was very young , she decided to investigate a slice of whatever was sitting on the barn's wooden table . when the stablehand found her a few moments later , the young mare was covered in gateau and frosting . it was then , that the folk decided what to call their newest edition , gateau after the sweet treat she had shown to love .

xxxx＞ gateau was visited by the vet after eating the cake for precautions and was cleared with a perfect bill of health .

Competition: When Poppet was born, she was just called Lady or Little Lady for a long time until they decided on "poppet" because of something she did when she was a year old. Basically, she got lost, (or rather they couldn't find her, she knew exactly where she was and how long she planned to be gone) and while most of the people who worked at the ranch where she was born were out looking for her, those who stayed at the main house received a call from a neighbor who lived about 20 mins. away. The neighbor called to tell them that they were currently watching what looked like a black and white filly happily going back and forth in there yard jumping over a 3 foot flowerbed of red and yellow poppies. The owners went over to pick her up, (after another 15 minutes chasing her to put a halter on) and after that they started calling her "poppet" and the name just stuck. Poppies + bein a lil jumper = Poppet!
