Revontulet - Foxfires
Inspired by the Finnish legend that the Northern Lights / Aurora Borealis
is created by arctic "fire" foxes dancing through the skies!
Thank you all for another wonderful year in the kalon community!
I would've thought I'd have snow this time of year where I live, but I guess I'll have to settle for a frosty fire fox.
To win this kalon, you'll need to tell me about their favorite sound.
Your sound can be as broad or specific as you'd like, but you only have 250 words to describe your sound and why it matters to them. I'm picky about word counts, so please don't go over or you'll be disqualified!
You may pretty up your forms, but no extras.

Ishmael
Sound:
Ishmael lives along the far northern wall of the kingdom, an ice fisher often left to his own devices. The biting wind billows through his ears and chills him to the bone, and it’s often the only thing he can hear.
On quiet nights, however, or in the shelter provided by a small canvas pitch, Ishmael is reminded of the life around him.
The wind whizzes through his fishing lines, creating eerie haphazard tones that falter in notes and weave between keys. Each gust of wind and each pole resonates a different tone, and each location a new song. Though the song is lilting, soulful and near as chilling as the wind that creates it, Ishmael revels in its symphony.
The calls created by the wind through his lines humbles Ishmael, reminding him that he is only a guest in the home of mother nature. As clouds of snow buffet across the ice, and the wind calls out in eerie harmony with his occupation, his lifeline, Ishmael is reminded of the home he chose. One of solitude, peril, and yet hidden joys. Things uniquely his own, he believes, as he warbles a rough tune in time with the wind in his lines.

Sound: Boreal's favorite sound is the sound of ice being dropped down a borehole! They aren't really sure why, but it's such a nice sound, and they could replay videos of it for hours. The clattering is silly, but they absolutely love when the soundwaves come back up, bouncing off the walls, and zing.

Sound
Much like the Revontulet, the sounds the northern lights make have long since been considered to be only folklore. However, Ilmatar knows the sounds to be very much real. He would best describe them as a fireplace in the sky, as the sounds are more often than not a series of snaps, crackles, and pops.
Ilmatar finds the sounds comforting, as they make the wilderness feel much more like home.
