"Heronpaw." Doestar's voice echoed through the tunnels of Fallsclan's camp and Heronpaw ducked her head, ears lowering as she slunk towards the leader's meow. She knew exactly what she'd done wrong, and why she was being called now; she'd snuck out during the night, too excited of her new status as an apprentice to even think about sleeping, and her sizeable contribution to the fresh-kill pile obviously hadn't gone overlooked. So she sat before her leader, gaze cast away and waiting to be reprimanded.

"Heronpaw, you know better." The apprentice swallowed, tail tip twitching just once in her discomfort. "I can't fault you for being excited, but you know it's dangerous out of camp at night, especially since we haven't even fully set our boundaries yet. I want to hear all about your adventure," Doestar's sudden change of tone had Heronpaw looking up, only to meet the leader's firm gaze once more. "But you will be forbidden for leaving the camp for the rest of today and tonight."

"Yes, Doestar... Okay, so, I went uphill mostly, to the tippy top of the one we live on - you can see to the edge of the world up there, the forest goes on forever! That's where I caught my first prey, I jumped up and grabbed a bird. Brought it back, and followed our stream to where it ended in a way bigger stream..." Heronpaw's story continued on for the better part of the morning, and Doestar listened to all of it and then some.

Skypaw often sneaks out of camp at night to see his rogue family. Although he left them in favor of a new life with the newly founded clan, they still love him and want to support his decisions. He tries not to go multiple nights in a row, but there was one time where he went 2 nights one after the other.

The second morning, he was exhausted and slept through the morning role-call. His mentor went in to get him and found him still asleep, which lead them to have a talk with Stormswirl the deputy about why he was so tired. Skypaw finally had to admit that he was seeing his family, and the deputy simply smiled at that. She didn't completely understand because her sister had joined with her, but she understood the importance of family.

Skypaw was granted the ability to see his family whenever he wanted, as long as he got a decent amount of sleep.
