Ferox Welsh Ponies (pron. feh-roks) are a hardy pony that originated in Wales. They have fine heads with slightly dished noses, short, muscular legs and stocky bodies. While small - averaging 12 hands - feroxes make good riding horses and are sure-footed owing to the mountains of their origin country. Ferox Welsh Ponies, their name meaning fierce, are known for their big personalities, including a streak of bravery that seems to run through the entire breed. Feroxes are strong but easily handled, making them ideal for all riders. They are frequently seen in bay, black, chestnut and grey, but many other colours have been recorded to appear in the breed, including appaloosa, paint markings and dilutions like champagne.

If I feel stressed, I usually lay down and listen to the minecraft soundtrack. It's quite relaxing and has a very nostalgic feel to it.
Though it's simple, I think that's a good thing. Over complication is another big stress producer!

Competition: Recently my boyfriend and I got a baby desert pastave ball python! He's our registered ESA and we are allowed to have him living on campus with us this year! Honestly, when we had first gotten him I was very apprehensive, not because I'm afraid of snakes but because I was not too sure how to handle myself around one. However, Irwin has very quickly become one of the best things to ever happen to me. He helps calm my anxiety greatly and always seems to know when we need him most. Seemingly on the worst days, he'll come out of hiding and give us "snake zoomies" where he'll slither around for hours on end, making us laugh when he spooks himself or falls over! He's done wonders to calm both of us down when we need it and honestly I couldn't ask for more from him. He makes me very happy and I'm glad I am lucky enough to have him with me!

Honestly, it depends on the kindof stress for me.
I have trichotillomania so when I get stressed out, I also pull my hair out in literal knots around my fingers. It’s a challenge to relieve stress, but here are the top five things that usually help me out;
• Swimming (we have a small lake within our housing col-de-sac, and it’s nice when it isn’t too cold out!)
• Taking a nap
• Reading/Writing
• Music Therapy (usually loud angry guitar, or calming chill step depending upon the why.)
• Cooking/Baking

Most of the time, I really need something to keep my hands occupied so I can avoid twisting and then pulling out my hair. If my hands are kept busy, or if my brain is just switched off of what I was focusing on, the stress is easier to handle once I return to the root problem.

this was a really, really hard choice to make (considering the delay on finally posting the winner), as i really enjoyed reading all of your entries, and found myself relating to them for my own means of relieving stress.

but i had to go with this entry because this can't be any more alike what i tend to do; i listen to calming music, most often lofi or some other favorites of mine, listening to rain/rainy days are my favorite, and cuddling with my puppy can almost bring me entirely out of the place i was in.

some shoutouts to honeybunchesofoats & howlinghooves -- i found your stories to be interesting, inspiring, and i enjoy the ways that help you to relieve stress.
