Their wings remind me of stained glass mosaics, and of the windows found in churches. This design also reminds me of the gazebo in my dream garden. Aka, the garden I sometimes visit in my dreams.
It looks kinda like this but with more roses and windchimes.

Name Reason?: when i first saw this beauty zephyrus was the name that first popped to mind. zephyrus is the greek god of spring and the west wind. this may be farfetched but stay with me here! the body of this lambicorn made me think of a cave, and zephyrus was thought to live in a cave. he is also the god of springtime, which is full of new life and colors, the colors being found in this lambies wings, eyes, and horns. finally, zephryus brought psyche to her monster husband, and even though the west wind himself was neither the monster or husband, the tail and ears make me think of the monster part in psyche's story.

I don't know exactly why, but Zephyrus just wouldn't leave my head... it seems like that's the name this guy wants to have!

Also, I would like to hear more of the story you art talking about for zephyrus. My greek mythology teacher only taught us that he was the greek god of the west wind and the messager for spring. She also taught us that Persephone was the goddess of spring. I like greek mythology and would love to hear the story you found.
