Who/what is the light of their life? (500 words max):

ronin is, for lack of a better word, a bit of an introvert. he gets energized from alone time- crisp walks, sparks of creativity that lead to picking flowers and arranging them, or discovering a new flavor combination when he eats various findings from the woods. these things aside, there is a comfort to coming home to his friends at the end of the day. they are his family, and despite his need for quiet space, ronin loves to be with them.

it wasn't always so- this little faun spent much time alone. now, though, he has a group of companions that love him quietly, carefully. they have come to understand his needs, and respect them accordingly. ronin is never pestered about where he was, or what he's been up to. this allows him to feel comfortable enough to share small pieces of himself; a good tasting mushroom, or a particularly lovely stone.

whenever he does come home, regardless of how long he's been gone, it's always a return ronin looks forward to. coming home to the warm, understanding love of his friends keeps him going when the woods grow cold.
