Some make great show horses like this one while others make great lesson horses like this lovebug. I never had a dull day when I was working with both these mares.

The book series that fostered my love of horses is called The Silver Brumby books, and they feature Thowra, the title and main character, and all books told from the point of view of the horse. The mysticism and story associated with the brumbies of the mountains, among the snowgums and rocky peaks is second to none.
