Shadow Flitz (Singular; Shadow Flit) are a long bodies species that have long since lost their hind legs, tail, and eyes to the power of the shadow and have replaced them with mold-able wispy appendages. these large, friendly beasts have been recently tamed to be ridden by humans and anthros alike. They have large, wide front paws, long pointed ears, and short, smooth fur. They can be naturally found in dark caves, wetlands, or thick forests. however have also been spotted in pastures while hunting. They are carnivores- meaning they are only meant to eat meat and they often prey on birds, deer, rodents, and bats.

Bruin's favourite place to be is Tintagel. There's a large hill that can either lead up or down. Up, leads to the castle ruins; exasperatingly high and with the most beautiful views out to sea - the wind is strong but not too much so, it's a refreshing breeze that only adds to the adrenaline of being so high up and in such a beautiful place. The sounds of the wind whistling and the grass swaying as he traverses through the ruins just creates this intense feeling of peace and connection with the nature and history of Tintagel.
If you take the hill down, it leads to a small waterfall which trickles over the edge of a small cliff. The pathway down is steep and tiresome, but the cove below makes up for the journey. At the bottom is a stretch of beach, surrounded by high walls of stone. Carved into the stone through thousands of years of water coursing through, are caves. These caves stretch from cove to cove, have small offshoot tunnels that lead underground or higher above the cove. The main cave there is Merlin's cave, celebrated as the cave in which the wizard Merlin stayed for a time, and where he hid the young King Arthur. The whole place has an intense magickal feel to it, and Bruin enjoys sitting high on one of the crumbled rocks, looking around him and imagining what it would have been like back in the supposed time of King Arthur. What tops it all off, is the cove leads out to the huge expanse, the water is refreshingly cool and so beautifully blue; taking a swim in it makes for the perfect way to relax and cool off. Overall, Tintagel is a small but peaceful place with a multitude of areas to be for whatever mood he is in. 308/500

Marious felt the warm, salty breeze blowing on his face as he skillfully picked his way down the rocky hillside. The sun had barely breached the horizon and it cast a soft orange glow over everything. The ocean waves were crashing gently and there was no one else in sight. The sandy part of the beach was littered with shells and pieces of seaweed. He walked along it, his nose inches from the ground as he searched for the glinting colors that signified his favorite beach treasure; sea glass. He found a few small green pieces, but nothing too extraordinary. After standing in the shallow water and letting it break against his legs, staring out into the endless blue-gray distance, he carried his sea glass over to the edge of a stony area. He set it in on the ground, hoping to have a slightly bigger pile when he was done. Scattered across the rocky ground were dozens of tidepools. Marious knew that each would hold different wonders and treasures. He started working his way among them. Some had snails with perfect spiral shells, crawling beneath the water at faster rates than one would usually expect. Drifting seaweeds of various shapes and species floated gently just below the surface. In the next pool, he spotted a sea urchin and watched it slowly moving its spines. He found one full of tiny silver fish and laid beside it with his head on his paws, watching them dart around each other and eat particles off the stony bottom. After about a half an hour, he spotted something shiny and red at the bottom of a pool. He excitedly reached in, being careful not to disrupt the tiny ecosystem. Red sea glass was one of the rarest colors to find and his heart thumped in his chest. This would be one of the most prized pieces of his collection. He trotted back to his pile and placed it on top gently, admiring it for a moment longer before turning back to his searching. Every night the high tide brought new wonders for him to discover in the morning. By the time he had checked every tidepool, he had eight pieces of glass. Most were brown and green, along with a white or blue one, but he knew he had been so lucky to add a red piece to his collection and couldn't wait to see what he would find tomorrow.
