To adopt you must be at least level 1 or not have a founder in progress or a founder at all. You must have an open space to be able to adopt.

First adopt as a ga!
This kiddo has a few scars- how did they get them? No limits, go wild!

End Date: 27th June at 11:59 CS time

Cat Name: Frostbite
Clan: Deerclan
Rank: Warrior
Gender: Female
Age: 15 moons
Prompt:
Frostclaw will always be remembered for her many dangerous, sometimes a little to dangerous, acts of 'kindness'. 2 of the three of her scars were caused by a landslide. It was dangerous, have I mentioned that yet? She was rescuing a kit from it when she was caught under, and sharp rocks cut her up.

Now, the bite mark on her right hind leg is a fox-bite. She earned this as an apprentice, for fighting off a family of foxes from camp. This, in turn, impressed her fellow clanmates, earning her warrior name 'Frostbite'. She's still quite young, and has more to learn, but she's sure that more scars will follow her in her moons to come.

Cat Name: Icetooth
Clan: Rainclan
Rank: Warrior
Gender: Tom
Age: 32 moons
Prompt: One very cloudy night, a small kit wandered out of the den. He thought he was big and strong enough to catch prey for the elder's breakfast. Luckily the midnight patrol was on it's way back when the kit sneaked too far into the mole clearing where a very grouchy badger was hunting for some baby moles. He thought the tiny kit was a mole and instantly attacked it. Icetooth heard the kit's yowls and sprinted to save him. He pounced on the kit's attacker and distracted it from the small kit. Because it was so big, he knew he couldn't fight it by himself so he decided to try and lead it to the other warriors but the badger was quick and grabbed Icetooth's back leg and threw him across the clearing. Although he was in pain, he knew the kit had to be saved so he leaped up and ran towards the badger and swiped at his eyes in attempt to blind it. The badger flailed its clumsy paws and accidently scratched Icetooth's muzzle and shoulder then ran away. The kit thought he had scared him off so he hissed and chased after the badger but Icetooth swept him up by the scruff of his neck. He took him back to the den before sternly telling him off and taking him to the medicine cat. He insisted on staying with the kit for the rest of the night keeping him warm and safe.

    Cat Name: Blizzardstar
    Clan: TwilightClan
    Rank: Leader/Founder
    Gender: tom
    Age: 21 moons
    Prompt:

He knew it had been dangerous, living so close to the Twolegs and their dogs. He knew, but a small part of him liked feeling the rush of adrenaline in his everyday life. He was young, he was reckless, and he had no one to live for but himself. What was life without a bit of risk, after all?

Blizzard had always been a gambler. He was cocky, perhaps excessively so, and it got him into trouble more than once. He was usually lucky, however, and often escaped many situations unharmed when others might not have been so lucky, had they been in his place. The good fortune that surrounded the tom made him complacent, or perhaps his luck was just set to run out sooner or later. The only thing Blizzard could consider lucky about the day he received his scars is that the dog wasn't any bigger.

The tom was out in broad daylight. A risk in itself, with so many watchful Twoleg eyes that would be glad to take him away, whether in good intention or otherwise. Blizzard was no stranger to the Twolegs, but he was fast, and could get away fairly easily. Twolegs were clumsy and slow creatures, and he would always smirk at them and let out a laugh when they tried to catch him. It was the most fun to try and run from the children - their cries of disappointment when he shot into the underbrush was always music to Blizzard's ears.

Usually, the dogs in the area were well contained by their Twolegs masters. Usually, Blizzard could taunt them from a distance, watch them strain at the end of their leashes, and scurry away after having a laugh. Usually, the Twolegs knew how to hang on to the big oafs, and Blizzard knew it. But that day was different. A new dog had come to the area, with new Twolegs Blizzard hadn't seen before.

"Hey, mutt!" Blizzard had called from his perch on a low branch, watching through a smirk at the dog's head whipped around, trying to find the cat. "Come here often? Or are you just visiting?" The dog's only response was crazed barks, nearly pulling his Twoleg to the ground. Blizzard's smile only widened, and his mistake was getting off of the safety of his tree branch.

"How about you and I take your Twolegs for a little stroll and-" Blizzard wasn't able to finish his taunt. The Twoleg wasn't holding the leash tightly enough, and the dog was suddenly racing towards Blizzard in a mad flurry of teeth and snarls. Blizzard could barely feel his feet react before the dog's teeth met his leg, giving him a shallow but scaring bite. Blizzard watched in horror as the Twoleg's yelled for the dog, grasping for the flailing end of the leash and barely holding on again as the dog lounged once more. Blizzard's mind was too muddled, too much in shock to move away as a sharp claw met his face, the dog's nail catching him just right to leave a scar across the bridge of his nose. He barely felt the scratch on his shoulder, received from a low hanging branch that grazed his pelt as he backed away, still staring at the dog with wide eyes.

From that day forward, Blizzard vowed to not taunt the dogs again. He vowed to stay in the shadows, to not venture out in the daylight, to keep himself safe. He wouldn't let himself be caught unaware again. And he would never let a dog get the better of him.
