Shadow Flitz (Singular; Shadow Flit) are a long bodies species that have long since lost their hind legs, tail, and eyes to the power of the shadow and have replaced them with mold-able wispy appendages. these large, friendly beasts have been recently tamed to be ridden by humans and anthros alike. They have large, wide front paws, long pointed ears, and short, smooth fur. They can be naturally found in dark caves, wetlands, or thick forests. however have also been spotted in pastures while hunting. They are carnivores- meaning they are only meant to eat meat and they often prey on birds, deer, rodents, and bats.

rhino beetles!! They raise them and have a whole room dedicated to these bugs. They enjoy having beetle fights, as it's a competitive sport he participates in. If his beetle dies (this rarely happens) then he buries them, and honors them but growing a flower where the insect was buried. He has each and every one of them named and makes sure they are well fed. The room is surprisingly clean, and you can't go in without getting hit in the face by the beetles.
They find Beetles interesting and often doodles them all over everything. He has many beetle stickers and magnets on his fridge. He does have one Hercules Beetle named 'Jesper' who he always has on his shoulder when walking around his home. He has a special habitat in Dynas's room. Jesper is at least 8 times the size of his other beetles, but never once has Dynas dreamed of putting his beloved Jesper in a Beetle Battle. He treats it like a cat or dog owner would treat their pet, though most run away at the sight of the giant thing.

Though it may look like a tiny ant, it can be very painfull. Glow loves this bug because is shows you can be little and still be tough. She loves its name and its unique patterning and colorations. But dont forget they run fast and move gracefully, that makes them even deadlier to the prey it hunts. Thatis why this is glow's favorite bug.

Bunny spends so much time working underground that she's used to bugs and insects and all sorts of creepy crawlies. The golden ground beetle she finds special, because she can't find it in the caves. She finds it after work, coming up to see it flashing in the light of the fields and the grass of her home. It's special to her like that; a private little reminder that even the most common of bugs can be beautiful in the right setting.
