prompt: Erio's colours meant he blended extremely well into the ground. And of course what better use of that fact than pranks? He's managed to scare quite a few humans and dragons by suddenly jumping when they were nearby, or almost on top of him. Nothing freaks people out more than a sudden screech as something jumps out from where nothing used to be before. His plan backfires sometimes though. Getting stepped on is not a fun experience, especially when it's a large and heavy dragon. Let's hope his back and body are ok.

He may be small, but Ponder has an imagination bigger than anyone could ever know. His favourite pastime is playing games in his own, made up world's. Today, he's a frog. Small and squishy, he's even the right colours! Proud of himself for thinking up such a brilliant game, Ponder let out a small giggle. Tucking his tail under his body and doing a small, happy, wiggly step dance, the wyrmling got in to character.

"Surely my journey must be almost over? There's got to be a pond around here somewhere," he mumbled with a sigh. Hiding his joy with a serious expression, ponder waddled on four legs through the undergrowth. Truthfully, he knew this area like the back of his hand, but that would ruin the fun. Nosing his way though a clump of ferns, he let out a shocked gasp when he saw the pond before him. Taking it all in as if it were his first time, the green noodle looked between the shimmering pool and drooping branches leaning over it.

(Note: I spent so long unable to finish this, so decided to stop trying to make it good and just had fun... suits him better anyways, right? ^^;)

Doing his best impression, Ponder ran to the edge of the water. Without hesitation, he stretched his little noodle legs out and leaped through the air, landing on a lily pad. It was only when his feet hit it, the leaf dipping alarmingly down and water starting to lap over the top and on to his feet that Ponder realized he hadn't thought this through. Unsure if he even know how to swim, the small boi let out an out of character scream as the water started to wrap around his body.

Before his head could drop in to the cold, dark depths, a pair of hands wrapped around his side, catching him and pulling him out. Chest heaving, dangling upside down, Ponder looked up in to the lopsided face of a young human. Uh oh, I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to let them see me?

"Well aren't you a funny little froggy," the small girl said, smile wide and eyes twinkling. "I'm gonna name you Ibby!" She then pulled him to her chest, earning a strangled squeak. "Mum! I found a frog! Can I keep him?!"

Smothered in her clothes, Ponder couldn't hear the response, but a downhearted whine have it away. Rightening the rather large "frog", the little girl placed him as gently as she could on the ground. Glancing quickly over her shoulder for prying eyes, she let out a giggle. Reaching in to her hair, she pulled out a colourful ribbon. "This is so you don't forget me Ibby!" With that, she skipped away, leaving a small dragon behind, wondering if the terrible stories of humans were really true.
