They have various plants that attract butterflies in their backyard, he colelcts the eggs and caterpilars and raises them also, since there are many predatory birds in his area, he wants the butterflies to get a chance. He also collects beetles and feathers. He lives in a tropical area and there are lots of beautifully colored featehrs out there that he likes to pick up. He cleans them and keep them in a book witht eh type of bird and a picture.
