prompt: painting portraits of butterflies and nature! they love all the kinds of creatures that come out of hiding for spring, but their most favorite is for sure the butterflies! their gentle flutters and beautiful, vibrant colors are so inspiring, and they cant wait to head out every dawn, paint set in paw, and enjoy the peaceful quiet, the melodic tweeting of birds in the distance, and the soft grass as far as the eye can see... buzzing bees and the sound of the fish splashing around in the river nearby, the flowers swaying gently in the light spring breeze, and white, puffy clouds idly drifting by... the perfect environment to paint!

xxxThe grey and turquoise boglin gently pressed their paws against the earth, separating the moist soil. They softly padded the soil into a small divot, the warm sun beaming on their back, accompanied by a gentle breeze. After the soil was prepared, they carefully tore the packet of seeds open, pouring a couple into the divot. They then topped it with loose soil, so the seedlings could sprout.
xxxThe bright boglin took a step back to admire their work. From cabbages to daffodils, their garden was bustling with life. They adored gardening and being able to create and nurture all these plants!
xxxThe garden wasn't simply for looks, however. After plants matured, they'd pick some to make into salads, smoothies, or flowery creations! What they loved just as much, if not more, though, was sharing these creations with others!
xxxAfter more tending to the garden, as night drew nearer, they heard swishes in the grass behind them. Knowing exactly what it was, they smiled, turning around. Concealed in the grass was a fluffy brown-and-white speckled rabbit! Where they lived was more secluded; bunnies often stopped by for a quick snack.
xxxSo, the boglin picked a leaf of lettuce from the the bunch, holding it out, and making a soft clicking sound, as not to scare them. With their nose twitching, the bunny cautiously made their way to the boglin, eating the lettuce from their paw. They smiled at the precious creature, happy that their garden could help so many others!

Heather's favorite thing to do outside is to play softball! It's her all-time favorite sport. She enjoys playing others, like soccer and basketball, but she finds softball so much more fun. She's been playing for years, so she is a good player at this point. She's best at batting, but she loves being in the field and will choose that over what she's good at when given the chance. When she was a little younger, her parents would constantly be getting upset with her because she would come inside with dirty fur and scraped knees due to sliding on the ground. At this point, they've decided to tolerate it as long as Heather cleans up her fur when she's done. (120/250 words)

Out of all the outdoor activities Neil could do, he enjoys bicycling the most. Overall, outdoor activities are just not Neil's kind of thing. He would much rather stay inside and read a thick book in his favorite armchair. But for Neil, bicycling is different than most outdoor activities.

He loves to go down hills. The thrill of feeling the wind whip his face and the speed he is going is always so much fun. Neil could do it over and over if he was able to. Knowing that there's also a possible danger of flying off makes Neil also feel quite daring as well.

Sadly, after all the fun of racing down the hills, Neil is know has to walk back up the hills while pushing the bike. It's the one part he doesn't like that much, but to him, the bicycling is definitely worth it. [147 words]

I'd finally found a nice place to sit. I sank down into the welcoming shade of the willow tree. I dug through my bag and pulled out a book. I gently brushed my paw against the leather cover and flipped open to where I left off last time. I began reading and as usual I was drawn into the story with it's clever irony and quick wit. After a while however I felt like I was being watched. I slowly looked out of the corner of my eye and Alfalfa was hiding around the tree trunk before I could react he almost jumped on top of me. I jumped and dropped my book "Wacha doin?" I picked my book back up and said with an irritated tone "Trying to read." Alfalfa tilted his head as if confused "On such a lovely day? Why don't you do something you can only do outside! You can read anytime." I rolled my eyes in annoyance and tried to ignore him. "What's you favourite thing to do outside?" I ignored him and kept reading. "Mine's playing in the dirt, who knows what you may find!" I glanced up from book to comment " How civil." He nudged me, "Come on, there's gotta be something." I sighed "Well every now and again I watch the clouds." Alfalfa happily bounced "Ooh excellent come on! Let's go watch some clouds then." I sighed, packed up my book and went with him to watch the clouds.

you’d never guess a boglin as collected and laid back as her would love sports! she’s very agile and has quick reflexes, but she can be a sore loser sometimes. with the wind in her fur, the rush of energy is almost addictive. kicking the ball with her front paw, she kicks the ball far to the left, and with the other player going to the left after it, she quickly went around the right, stealing it right before the other player reaches it. speeding up even more now, she is nears the goal. as she lifts her back leg, she delivers a swift kick, the ball soaring right into the net hitting the fabric at the back. she triumphantly let out a proud bark! just another victory for citrus.
