Kiyomi is a Pokemon that prefers to limit herself to one or two word answers whenever possible. Not because she's cold or unfriendly, but because she believes actions speak louder than words. One should SHOW one cares, not simply blab about it, because while anyone can say anything, only you can be you. It's what makes every relationship beautifully unique! An accomplished flutist, she frequently writes 'themes' for her friends to better express her feelings. She also has the biggest, warmest smile in the world! it's contagious, and lights up rooms!

The mask isn't because she's shy: it's a family heirloom which has been passed from parent to child for generations! Since family is extremely important to Kiyomi, and she was an only child, she wears the mask with great pride. Never mind the fact she's always found it a touch creepy...



The Mask. - I was going to DRAW it, but ran out of time. It looks a lot like this guy, only shaped to fit a Vulpix rather than a yam/sweet potato. The humans of my region, being largely agricultural, have a tradition that's similar to the one in the article. At the same time though, it's markedly different. Instead of having exchange partners, the people of Dailen leave the largest veggies at a rural shrine as an offering to a legendary Pokemon/spirit. The grower of the season's largest yam gains a special role in the ceremonies, and much prestige for their farm. I haven't had a chance to hash out the precise details, mind - I've just always loved this bit of New Guinea's culture, and find the masks to be really cool. ^o^

prompt: The feminine charm radiating off Usagii is enough to make him a Despair Queen, despite him not actually being female. This mysterious Vulpix is a sweet talker, a smooth criminal with little to no insecurities whatsoever. He'll approach with a calm mind and a coy grin, acting all innocent until the perfect moment to strike. Usagii can be quite ruthless when the situation calls for it; there have been plenty of times where he's made another Pokemon break down because of his words alone. He has no need for petty threats - oh, no. His intimidating aura is more than enough for getting information out of others. Besides, why would you threaten somebody when you could just as easily break their minds? That's more fun anyways!
Usagii is sadistic and cold, with little to no remorse as to who he intimidates or mentally breaks. Most would see him as just Tidbit's lackey - a pawn used to get what the leader wants, when she wants it - but very few see him for the mastermind that he actually is.
Him? A pawn? Please. If anything, those foolish girls are the pawns - Usagii plays this game to win. And he hasn't lost just yet.

mask: Usagii's mask resembles entirely as his namesake suggests - it resembles that of a white rabbit. However, instead of just being a plain old rabbit, this one has a clockwork eye marking on the forehead, and the curled Cheshire Cat smile of it seems stitched shut. Perfectly creepy for a sinister Vulpix such as himself, wouldn't you agree?

as the fairytale normally goes with foxes, mason is extremely sly and and has a habit of stealing things from people, intentionally or not. however, she does not completely fill the mould of a fox, instead turning to be more of a wolf in sheep's clothing sort of character, using her charms to her advantage to trick people into listening to her, or for her to get what she wants. despite this, mason does hold a morale ground and refuses to undermine people, or other pokemon, who she feels will not be able to recover from their loss. instead, she solely targets those more fortunate than others - most of the time these tend to be merely tricks pulled on others, she prefers to stray away from criminal activity as much as she can. albeit, this does not stop her seeking out revenge on those with where she sees fit due to their own personal actions.
