If you're not paying attention, Cheeto will sneak up behind you and perch on the back of your chair. From that position, she waits for the perfect opportunity to strike. Just when you're least expecting it, Cheeto will swat the top of your head with a paw, then leapfrog over you before tearing out of the room at lightning speed.

Maybe she thinks the alarmed reactions are funny... Some people have insisted that they could hear Cheeto laughing at them from the other room.

Prompt - Lilac had always hated socks with a deep passion. She will chase them for hours and then fall and bite them. Her inner wild cat comes out when someone tosses a pair of socks. Lilac enjoys staying at the barn now, chasing mice and attacking horse hooves. She has also always licked herself in one area around her left leg, revealing rubbed raw skin under hair. Her leg seems sound and all. Lilac has been taken to the vet, and nothing seemed off. She had just done it without reason.

A young man bustled into the kitchen, carrying a stack of papers towards his work table. Taking a deep breath, he set the papers down and was about to collapse into his chair when suddenly - "Meow!"

The man hopped up in surprise before looking down at his chair. A smug-looking black-ginger tortoiseshell glanced up at him and the man rubbed his eyes. "Evander, please get off my chair," he asked the cat tiredly.

The cat stood up on the chair, spun around In a circle, then sat back down.

The man looked from the cat to the chair, then back to the cat again. "Please?" he begged. "I have some really important paperwork to finish."

Evander stared at her human. No! Go find a different chair! You got up and walked around! You aren't sitting on the chair; I am! It's mine!

The man looked at the cat. "Please?" he tried again. "Pretty please?"

No, human! Go find a different chair! This chair is mine!

The man, knowing that there was no way he would win the battle, groaned and complied.

As dusk turns to night, Twinkle hid in her den the breeder had made her just outside of the house, under a huge oak tree. She laid her ears back and stayed low. It was coming, and it would arrive soon. Maybe it wasn’t coming for her? Her guess it was coming for the moon, but she joined it in it’s nightly routine and it has become a habit. She looked up at the twinkling stars that shone so bright right around the moon. Something howled in the distance. It’s here, she thought. She slowly came out of her den, crouching low and keeping her ears back; she also kept her tail in between her legs. The dog-like creature stood up on a rock and howled it’s head to the moon. She raised her head and howled, or rather meowed at the moon. When she left and came to the shelter, she can still hear it’s howls in the wind. She’ll sit at the window and meow at the moon. She wants to honour the dog, as you never know, she might meet it again...
