Niko gazed at the ground silently, and fidgeted as quietly as she could. Their was no way this could be happening, and the cat wasn't about to admit it either. First being kicked out of home for suggesting that she might never evolve, then running into many pokemon that just keep attacking her, and now she lost something so dear to her that the litten's heart was crushed. Niko would be sobbing, but the fact that the kitten's heart was to strong for it kept her going. She bit her lip and moved onward.

Slowly and soon enough, with sore paws, dehydration, and a little hunger, the litten came a crossed a tall pointy mountain with a mailbox in front of it, and a building labelled 'Team Echo Echo' just around the corner. She had no money, so it was ridiculous to request anything, and Niko wasn't going to belittle herself over it. She stood their and pondered about the thought despite the quarrel.

She missed her bow so badly. Her sister gave her that bow, and it was the only thing she had left from her family. Anger filled her, but then a somber feeling arose. It would sting, but she knew what she had to do. Suck up her pride, and hope that this team was willing to help her get that stupid bow back even though she had nothing to give in return.

"Everything is fine," Quint insisted, levelling a sharp blue glare at Caspar. The buizel tilted his head at the newest recruit, adopting a politely skeptical expression.

"Are you sure about that? Ginny told me you've been lurking down here for a while. Is there something you want? Because I can get her for you, if it was a question for-"

"-It's not a question! I'm fine!" Quint flashed, flexing his paws on the smooth wood-planked floor. But his eyes betrayed him, straying up to the shelf above his head. Caspar peered up at the shelf, then down at the shorter pokemon. He grinned.

"You want something off the top shelf, don't you?" he asked, looking like he was trying to hold back a laugh. "But you can't reach it? Is that your problem? Have you been lurking around here trying to get it down without asking for help?" Quint bristled at the leader's suggestion.

"I don't- you're imagining things- maybe I just like standing around here-" he sputtered, looking outraged- or embarassed, Caspar guessed, noting the slight flush surrounding the young Litten. He stood quietly, waiting. After a few beats of silence, Quint sighed, defeated.

"Fine. Yes. Nimue hid my stash of snacks up there. Whether it was a prank or more of her attempting to parent us all, I'm not sure. But I can't get them down. Green fabric bag. Can you get it down for me, please?"

"Sure thing," Caspar said. "But only if you let me sneak a few snacks. Nimue's hid mine too, and I haven't found them yet."

Quint gave him a wry grin. "Deal."
