prompt;;“Where exactly did you say we’re going?
I got distracted eating a berry.
Not that I wasn't listening, but yeah, I kind of wasn't."
“Well, Lila says the complaint involved a cavern to the East.
The young visitor stated that her little brother used to play near to there but disappeared after disobeying
their parent’s rule that they stay away from the inside of the cavern itself. She believes he’s okay but lost.
It’s our job to find him and return the kid home.”
“So… is this... a small, open cavern where you can see the outside at all times?
Or is it like a, uh, well-lit space with shiny crystals and such…?”
“I believe it’s an old mining location that was abandoned after a
financial dispute of some sort occurred between the heads of the project.
The electricity is cut off, so we have to use these lanterns Lila provided us to make our way through.
Are you worried about something, Yitota?”
“No…”
“Now I know you’re lying. You’re way too obvious.”

Yitota confessed her fears shortly after. Saixel would normally shrug off Yitota’s quirky traits, but the Totodile seemed genuinely upset. Perhaps she had a not-so-great history with Ghosts or Dark-Types, and thus was afraid of dark places? The two were still getting to know one another, so any speculation on Saixel’s part couldn’t confirm the reality.
As they approached the cavern, Yitota seemed hesitant…
…but a small light appeared from inside the dark space, a light purple flame – the two looked at each other and nodded in unison – this light may have been a sign to follow, a guide straight to the Pokémon child they sought!
So, they followed the light. Yitota knew how important it was to return the little one home, and so she faced her fears head on… with the comforting help of Saixel, of course.
To their luck (and relief), the light led them straight to a small pocket of space, where a little Minun was hiding. His older sister would surely be relieved.
Still, the light shone and brightened the walls around with its mysterious light. It began to occur to Saixel that this may not have been the work of a helpful fairy or mystical entity, but rather a spirit or Ghost Pokémon. She looked closely at the base of the purple light and noticed a smile on the face of a Litwick staring back at her.

“Thank you.”
“Who are you talking to…? Either way, we better head back.”
“What’s wrong, Saixel?”
“This Litwick doesn’t belong here, Yitota.”
“….Litwick?”
“This little friend who granted us such a favor… This isn’t the normal environment for one to form. They won’t survive here, especially if it uses its flame in such a generous way.
Small one, what is your name?”
“Well, we can learn it in time. Please, come with us – we have plenty of room for a new recruit.”
“Saixel – you wouldn’t normally just accept someone right off the bat. What’s different? Are you ill?”
“Yitota, don’t worry. Just as you faced your fears today, so shall I. Besides, they’ve more than earned our trust. Let’s go.”

The Litwick guided the three others out but seemed hesitant to leave the cavern. Saixel gave the small friend a smile… and they moved forward together.
It would take some time to get any words out of the fellow, even a name…
…but once their new recruit was ready, Yitota and Saixel knew the Pokémon would be a great team member… especially for missions in the dark!
