Leonette doesn't have family to celebrate the holidays with. Or friends, really, and she hates parties due to the risk of being recognized.
Sometimes she just has to suck it up though- running a charity means she needs to attend those silly fundraising Christmas parties. They're about her only way to earn her income after all.
Mostly she likes to host the parties but specifically for kids - less risk, more reward. Splash some cash on a venue and sweets and drinks and a santabog and little christmas gifts for the children to take home.
Those parties are fun because she gets to see everyone excited about Christmas, gets to raise awareness for her charity, and also earn funds to support the children she's taken in until their next fundraiser.
Adult parties though? You won't catch her dead at one of those.

When it comes to preparing for holiday parties, Bell does not mess around. She turns the Christmas music on full blast to fuel her decoration fever. Of course, she has already decorated since Thanksgiving, but things need to be extra decorated for her holiday parties. Her goal is always to make other boglins go "wow", so she goes over the top.
She hosts two parties every year, one for friends/aquaintances and one for family. Both are tightly run with Bell buzzing between guests like a bee, offering home-cooked snacks or punch as needed.
Once the party winds down and guests start to leave, they're gifted with a fancy handmade take-home baggie with treats and trinkets. Bell ends the busy day by cleaning and obsessively checking social media to see others raving about the party and looking at the pictures that her guests post. She carefully records various statistics about the party and finally goes to bed, dreaming of how to "wow" them next year.

prompt: kamrynne shot an obvious glare across the living room. friends and family filled the small space, drinking cider and eating yummy treats all while talking amongst themselves. kamrynne hates these little get togethers that cassiopeia always planned. they got on her nerves because she always had to clean for days before and after. blitzen adored these parties, he always received gifts and compliments for being so cute. there had only been about three this past year since they’d adopted him, but he loved them nonetheless. kamrynne sighed as cassiopeia patted her back slowly. the crowd didn’t help kamrynne’s aversion of these events, in fact, it helped it grow stronger. kamrynne just shot one last pointed glare before heading to her room to hide.

prompt: Every year there is a light show that lights up the sky on Christmas eve. Raspberry, before meeting Sakumo, the light show gave bad memory so they didn't enjoy watching the lights alone. Sakumo had learned this and his stubbornness got Berry and soon it became tradition to go outside and watch the lights together. No matter how grumpy Raspberry acts about it they will always cherish this gift Sakumo brought them that they continued giving.

Leonette likes buying presents for the children she works with during the holidays. She can't always afford lots but she tries her best - a lot of the bogs she's known for a while and knows their personalities, likes, dislikes quite well. Those she can get gifts she knows they'll like. An art set for aspiring Martin, a 'paint your own mug' for Jifi who likes to drink hot chocolate before she sleeps each night. The ones she doesn't know well she takes shopping herself, explaining that santabog has enlisted her help this year in getting the perfect gift and that they get to choose it all by themself!
It's a lot of work buying and wrapping and labelling everything but it's always worth it to see the babybogs joy when they get their gifts that've been carefully arranged under the tree.

prompt: a growl forced its way past kamrynne’s clenched teeth as she threw her two piles of wrapping paper under the tree. they weren’t neat in any shape, form, or fashion. simply a ball of crumbled up candy cane wrapping paper with a store-bought bow on top. she hated that she wasn’t skilled at wrapping gifts, not like cassiopeia was. still, it was the thought that counts, right? in cassiopeia’s gift was a beautiful starry scarf that she had stared at for an hour before deciding she didn’t want to spend the money and walked away. kamrynne had snuck back in thirty minutes later and bought it. blitzen’s gift was a stuffed puppy with a collar that promised him that he would get a puppy as soon as the first of the year passed. it would make him so happy.
