do you need a cat's shoulder to lean on? do you need to spill out all of your worst and most embarrassing secrets to someone, anyone? well, talk to sealmist! he's the therapist for all your needs, whether it's about your past or your worries about your future. but don't worry about the whole clan knowing the secret; he keeps everything to himself. he's quite kind and helps anyone who needs helping. do you have regret? no worries! sealmist'll help guide you through the path that's right. he always shares - not your secrets, obviously, but he shares every piece of prey he gets. if it's raining but you're hungry, he'll go out and catch you your favorite kind of prey, specifically for you. a newcomer? so what! he'll give you a tour of the territory whether you like it or not... sure, he's a little bit of an overachiever, but it's all from the better part of his heart... probably. like all cats he has a dark side to him, but at least he shows the bright side to all cats! but.. ah.. he should probably give himself a therapy session. he's a little weird and probably has some sort of deep, dark, and depressing history. kind of insane, nice, and a good therapist, it's Sealmist!

Prompt:

Mintfoot charged out of the clan camp. It was his first day as a full name, well first day after having slept the entirety of the day before after his vigil. Reedfeather had placed him on a morning border patrol, going towards the west and southern borders with Littlestorm and Dustwind. He ignored the scraping of the branches as they tired to tear into his skin, only succeeding in pulling out loose tufts of fur from his winter coat. Stepping onto the grass beyond the camp he flipped onto his back and felt as he started to slide and roll down the hill, his pelt getting covered in dew from the cool morning air a few moments before. He couldn’t help but feel as if he was a kit, just learning about the camp clearing for the first time. Rolling around a bit more in the cool dew covered grass, he stood and shook his pelt, getting an annoyed hiss from Dustwind who had caught up and was behind him. Flattening his ears in apology for a few quick moments, he quickly turned back to the territory. Littlestorm was quickly trotting away, shaking his head in annoyance at the newly made full name, only for Mintfoot to barely catch him say;
“If only more of us could have that kind of energy in the morning, show off.”

Prompt:

The rules are set in place to be followed. Cheza does not show her emotions very well, coming off as very stoic and unmovable. Her piercing gaze seems to follow cats wherever they go, and a lot of the time the others whisper about how she's always watching, making sure they are following the rules. She has no patience for other's mischief, and will not hesitate to confront any cat, even the leader. Her eagerness to uphold the laws can make Cheza come off as rude and uncaring, like she does not care for the good of any singular cat, only for the good of the majority.

While her honesty and need for rule following pushes a lot of cats away, there is a witty and sassy nature about Cheza if one is able to get past her rough and gritty exterior. She has comebacks like no other, and will banter easily with the few cats she can call friends. She has a bit of dry, witty humor, and gives a slight smirk when she's teasing; something not a lot of cats catch, assuming her to be rude and disrespectful.

She is incredibly thick skinned, not caring about the opinions of other cats on her viewpoints or her lifestyle. She is who she is, and Cheza refuses to change for anyone. She would prefer not to spend time completely by herself, enjoying the company of her few friends, but she would be happy to live alone and fend for herself, as she has done it before.

As a clan member, Cheza has a great amount of loyalty and responsibility. She would loathe to be called lazy, and is a hard worker, trying to prove her worth and be a team member. Cheza cares deeply for her clan and all of her clanmates, even if they do get under her skin, and if she gets under theirs. If an outsider were to attack anyone in her clan, she wouldn't hesitate to protect any clan member, no matter her relationship with them.

vervain is quite the charmer, who knows her way around any social situation. approachable with a wry sense of mischief, she has friends everywhere she goes. however, she is sometimes perceived as being droll; very odd in some way or another. she usually does not even notice until some cat mentions it. she can have a somewhat whimsical nature about her that attracts the odd cat here and there. due to her affable personality, though, these situations end up well in the end. her pride will most likely be her downfall; she cannot back down from a challenge, and can become competitive very easily. nonetheless, she loves her clanmates equally, like brothers and sisters in arms.

vervain is a fairly popular cat with the younger members of the vale because of her gung-ho attitude. she is usually being swarmed by kits and tenderfoots who vie for her attention, which she gives as freely as she can. however, her endurance can only last so long before she gets burnt out on kit energy, and has to retire to her den to recharge. though she is not the best at teaching, she attempts to give as much helpful advice as possible. but sometimes the instructions get lost in translation, and she causes a tenderfoot to make a mistake. fog tries to rectify the mistake as soon as it happens, but at some point it just becomes redundant. this is because every cat knows that she is trying her best, despite her inexperience. vervain seeks advice from those older than herself in order to further not only her own knowledge, but to pass it on to those who look up to her.

though she was born and raised in the vale, vervain is, indeed, a second generation loner. she does not and will more than likely never see herself as an outsider, as she has always shown the utmost loyalty to the cats who have considered her family since the beginning. her mother had a litter with a tom who vervain does not know. she does not harbor any bad feelings toward this, as it is a pretty common practice. her brother died young, before she really got close to him, and so she grew up a single kit. she learned how to make herself known pretty quickly, though, and has no shortage of friends.

Frostflower is very set in her ways and can come off as a bit pushy because of this. When she first joined the clan she was a young cat and so all of the ideals of the clan were put onto her from the very beginning of her life. She wants everyone to cooperate and work together and she feels that by constantly reminding others of the ideals and rules of the clan she is doing a great deed. As time goes on the clan has been slowly changing and this has slowly been affecting her friendships. She knows that the changes are for the best of the clan, but she can’t help but argue or complain about them to others.

Despite her harsh beliefs Frostflower is a very nice and caring cat. When someone is stressed she is very good at helping them find a way to release that stress. She believes the during stressful situations cats shouldn’t stay in and mope they should get out of camp and keep their body moving. Even if she’s just making them go hunting with her, she will often say the perfect thing at the perfect time while they are hunting. However when she is stressed she finds it very hard to find the same support. She has accepted that she is the one that helps people when they are stressed, so she never wants to show weakness to her clanmates. Frostflower will go off on her own and will often be out for long stretches of time where she is doing her warrior duties the best she can in order to distract herself. It would be much easier for her to talk about her problems, but even when she is asked she avoids a straight answer.

Owlstar is kind, fair and patient, but he is also very protective, aggressive and insecure.

Owlstar is known to the others as being very kind to his clan and others. Though he is wary of outsiders, he will help a stranger if needed. His kindness is not to be taken advantage of, however.

He is generally a fair cat, dishing out rewards and punishments as he sees fit. In his eyes, the punishments are swift and just. He often makes sure everyone contributes and just tries to make everything fair down to the smallest dispute.

Owlstar is very patient. He will work with a cat until they understand what they are doing, even if it drives him mad. His apprentice, Bearpaw, often tests his patience with his carefree attitude.

Owlstar will fight tooth and nail for his clan if he believes if they are in any slight danger. Unfortunately, this has led to fights and once a small battle. Many cats regard him as overbearing sometimes.

Because of his itch for justice and wanting it to be fair, sometimes he goes overboard with serving justice... Refusal of punishment makes him dish out a harsher punishment, and often does so aggressively.

Cats say hes a confident leader whos sure of every choice he makes, but the truth is he's very insecure. He always questions his own actions, and often thinks the clan hates him, which makes him paranoid and uneasy. It gives him no ease at night.
