Cheshire has never been a bunny that could get into the spirit of any holiday that wasn’t Halloween. Halloween was so...
him. The spooky goblins and ghouls, the kooky monsters, silly sheet ghosts, and bucket loads of sweet, sweet candy; all of it was absolutely perfect to Cheshire. Nothing about the holiday was meant for you to take yourself seriously, it was all in good fun and to be silly and have some laughs with your pals. Truth be told.... Cheshire still hasn’t taken down his Halloween decorations... or packed up his costume... or finished his Halloween candy.... and now it was only a week to go until Christmas.
Cheshire couldn’t believe how quickly the holidays had snuck up on him this year. He began to panic looking around at all his spooky decor, wondering what on earth he should do to make things more festive for Christmas in such a short amount of time. At this point, he couldn’t bear to take down his Halloween decorations, as they had just become his normal decor at this point. So, he just Christmas-ifyed all his Halloween stuff!
He hand crafted little Santa hats and beards for his skeletons and plastic jack-o-lanterns. The black cats he transformed into reindeer with little branches Cheshire had found outside and used as antlers. He added more, fluffier cotton as well as some glitter to the spiderwebs he had put up months ago, making them look like snow, and he even colored in little snow hats for the spiders to keep them warm. He took his pumpkin shaped string of lights and wrapped them around his Christmas tree, the only real decoration he decided to take out for the holiday. Cheshire nodded to himself as he plugged them in, thinking about how much he preferred the orange glow of the pumpkins on the tree rather than a whole rainbow. With that last detail, Cheshire called it a day. He stepped back to admire his work, and smiled, from bunny ear to bunny ear.
