When asked, Akumu would say that a perfect gift for her would be food or some training dummy to tear apart. Or, if she felt particularly cheeky, she’d say that she is perfect and doesn’t need no gifts. That’s because Aku tries to be cool, emotionless and strong so that others respect her. Deep down, however, she is a sweet and lovely girl and likes things cute, feminine and delicate.
The perfect present for her would be something exactly like that. Perhaps a necklace or a bracelet. Beautiful, but at the same time subtle and would not make her seem less macho.
The one to notice that she might enjoy some such thing would be Moe, as she has a talent for seeing through people. She would get her a silver bracelet to go with her fur with some delicate colourful decorations to emphasise her beauty and inner femininity. Aku would be embarrassed about wearing it at first, but Moe would find a way to make her wear it, probably asking Fantom for help.
During the winter season there comes a night, the longest one in the whole year. It is a sleepless night for all of the lions, no matter the age, rank or anything else.
The lions go out into the fields, mountains, cliff sides. Whenever they can see the sky best, unobscured by tree branches. They sit or lay down and look into the stars.
They are silent, calm and peaceful. Animals that are normally prey can walk among them without fear of getting attacked. For that one night, the lions pay no attention to them. Lions from other prides, even if normally enemies, will be welcomed with peace. It is not the time of fighting.
It is a time of reflection. Lions ponder upon their lives and their futures. They make plans and reflect on what’s already past. After the longest night everything will go back to normal, but lions will feel different, depending on the conclusions they came to.

E43 wrote:Kokoto awoke to his stomach being prodded. With a groan, one eye slowly opened to see Roho sitting on top of him, grinning wider than he'd ever seen her smile before.
"Papa!" She mewled as she noticed his open eye. "Papa, guess what I just heard!"
"What'd you hear, Roho?" He asked, gently pushing her off his stomach so that he could stand.
"There was a jingling noise!" She explained as she fell to the ground, scrambling to get back to her feet so she could bounce in front of him. "We gotta go find it!"
He smiled sleepily at her and pushed her over onto her back. "We can look in the morning."
His adoptive daughter pouted. "What if it's gone?"
"I'm sure it will still be around. Let's look tomorrow. Please?"
"Okay," she conceded, getting back up and curling up beside him. "Goodnight, papa."
"Goodnight, my sweet little Roho," he whispered, smiling at the cub who had fallen asleep so quickly before shutting his eyes and waiting for sleep to claim him again.
E43 wrote:Kokoto had awoken to a lot of strange things, especially since he had adopted Roho as his daughter. Today though? Today took the cake.
"By the rose, what is that?" He said, eyes wide and mouth agape as he stared at his daughter.
The young cub was currently batting at the bells on the harness of some sort of fluffy gazelle. A baby, very fluffy gazelle. That was in their den. How had it even gotten it?
"She was lost!" Roho said brightly when she noticed her father was awake and looking. "I didn't want anyone to get her, so I helped her into the den. She's the jingling sound I heard last night?"
Of course she is, Kokoto sighed, carefully walking over so as not to spook the young deer.
"Can we keep her?"
If Kokoto could have pursed his lips, he would have. "Keep her? Roho, her mommy is probably looking for her. Let me talk with Nasaba so we can see about getting her home, okay?"
Roho wilted a little, but then brightened and nodded. "Okay! I don't want her family to be worried!"
Kokoto sighed with relief. The last thing he needed was to be taking care of something else on top of Roho.

E41:Send Warmth
The first thing the pride tends to when it warms up the rivers melt away is to through a huge festival celebrating the snowmelt! The snowmelt festival is a big deal to the pride since it symbolizes the increasing change of the seasons and it gives them back their territory. It does require a bit of preparation through the snow to make sure enough prey will last them through event and until the herds return.Everyone is giddy in anticipation for the first of the snowmelt to happen so they bond tools of ivy, sticks, and sharp rocks to aid the melt. The strong and nimble male lions take care of the rivers and Oasis by using their tools to help crack open the frozen rivers and free them of their ice laden covers. They love the days of winter and Midwinter Yule festivities but they are so ready to get back to the warm weather so they can have plenty of food for the growing pride. It’s not easy trying to feed eleven lions and two cubs with field mice!

E42:The Sky Has Fallen! The Sky Has Fallen!
As a massive snow storm had blown in Varriya and Diablo stayed sheltered in their den. They fell asleep huddled up together as the wind blew mass amounts of snow forming a massive snow wall in the morning. The two woke up in pure shock of why their den was so dark,it was never this dark they always had light pooling in somewhere that’s why they choose it.Varriya went bounded towards the snow wall in panic before her mate stopped her from actually hurting herself against the frozen snow.At least she could hear the pride members surrounding their den trying to figure out safe methods of getting them out.Diablo quickly came up with the good idea of starting to claw the snow out to make a tunnel at least till the other could help them. She nodded and started clawing with all her might with Diablo barely making a dent in the barrier.
