Cat Name: Charity
Clan: Twilight Drift
Rank: Scout
Gender: She-cat
Age: 32 moons
Prompt:
"Make way! Make way! Your savior is coming through! She bears gifts, and plenty of them!" The bell chimed alongside Charity's calls, echoing around the camp as the other cats rolled their eyes. Along Charity's back were trinkets that she had found out in the forest, little things she had brought back for everyone. It was her favorite thing to do, to try and match a trinket with each cat while out and about.
Though the other cats rolled their eyes, their hearts skipped a beat when they heard the small bell around Charity's neck. Most, if not all, of the cats loved seeing what she had found. They always wondered how she was able to find these strange objects so easily. Sometimes they were covered in dirt from where she had dug them out of the ground, other times a little soggy as she had fished them out of a puddle. But she almost always had something to bring back each time she went into the forest.
The bell meant community. It meant bringing everyone in the clan together for a meeting, the younger cats excitement contagious to all as they observed a small pile that Charity would drop at their feet. Waiting with bated breath, they would wait to see what object she would match them with. Each cat had their own pile of heirlooms either scattered in their nest, or next to it, keeping everything Charity had ever given them.
The bell was heart warming for the cats. It meant a good end to a long day, and it meant they could relax and share their ideas of where these objects might have come from and what they might have been used for. Sure, Charity's bell was annoying when they were trying to hunt or sleep... but they all had grown to love the sound of the bell ringing, large grins split across each and every cat's face.
