Prompt: Palefire actually looks up to rumblekit, the tiny kit that is partially blind, but never gives up and tries his absolute best! He doesn't let this vision impairment affect him and soldiers on. She's sure that he will make a great warrior someday. She's glad that he didn't give up and still wants to be a warrior.

Palefire couldn't quite get this way of thinking, so what better way than to ask rumblekit herself?
"Tell me little one, why are you always so upbeat?" Palefire cocks her head curiously at the young tomkit.
"Momma told me that I've always gotta try my best, no matter what! So that's what I'm gonna do!" Rumblekit holds his head high and gives palefire a giant smile, before racing off to play with his other littermates.

She realised that as he grew up, he became a fine warrior and one of the best cats that stormclan could ask for. He always retained that enthusiastic outlook on life, even as he grew into a young adult. Even though he isn't her kit, she is so proud of him.

One day she hopes to think more like him. Perhaps in time, she will learn to be. (200 words exactly)

Cottonbrook, her mate.

They say opposites attract, and there’s no better example than Dawnwhisker and Cottonbrook.

They were both admirers of one another, even before they grew close and fell in love. Cottonbrook, so bold and brash and unafraid of sharing her opinion, even if it was hard to hear. Dawnwhisker, quiet and calm and always there to listen and love you, no matter what you did.

Now, after several moons of being each other’s favoured companion, they share their greatest admiration for one another. It isn’t easy to love someone who is different from you, and yet they love each other so freely, so openly and unafraid. Despite all their differences, they work together to provide a balance, a perfect harmony.

So Dawnwhisker will always admire Cottonbrook, explicitly for her differences. And she knows her beloved mate will always feel the same.

Shellpaw has really only done one bold decision by herself - angered at her mother and wanting to meet her father, she left WishClan and joined Lighthouse. That was all. She doesn't regret it- she wishes she was simply that bold again.

Shellpaw is a shier, quieter cat. She works best with her friend group- outside it, she is timid and feels like she has no power. She doesn't see this in Duckstorm- the tom is bold, with or without others' support. He speaks his mind and is honest about everything he does. There is so secret, or hiding behind others with him - Shellpaw wishes she had these traits herself.

She's not very close to him, although he does often attend training meets where he helps with mentors train their apprentices. She's always a bit nervous around him - again, his bluntness she is rather sensitive to and he has scolded her technique many times before - but she is so greatful that someone in the clan thinks she is capable of doing better. That she's not just good as she is - that she can be more than what she is now. She hopes to one day be so assertive and outspoken and willing to stand up for what she believes as he is.

Owlcoo looks up to Willowsun. Owlcoo came to Songclan alone as a young cat having lived a peaceful quite life up until that point.
Coming to the clan was a massive culture shock to her and Willowsun reached out instantly and bonded with her, explaining to the gentle young cat that being a part of the clan did not mean she had to be a warrior or fight other cats. Instead she could train underneath Willowsun to become a clan keeper.
Willowsun taught Owlcoo the importance of peace and the importance of completing little tasks and how to take joy in what some other cats consider menial.

It's not often that an elder looks up to a cat younger than themself, someone who by all rights should look up to the elder, not the other way around. But in Rosethorn's case, it is a much younger cat that she looks up to, a seeming no one important in the clan.

Batsight a young tom when she'd met him and blind as the animal he became named after, needless to say, Rosethorn had quickly assumed the tom wouldn't make it in the forest. She'd been with the patrol that found him, wandering around the edge of the cliff, looking lost while not really looking anywhere at all. The older molly had written the tom off in an instant, wanting to just case him out of the clan, they didn't have time to babysit a cat that wasn't there own.

Rosethorn was proven wrong at every turn, Batsight wasn't as blind as he seemed. No matter how many times he was told he couldn't do something he found a way to do it, even if it was different from how others did. It still got done. Even if he failed he didn't give up, even if he had to ask every warrior to teach him something he kept pushing. Rosethorn could only watch in astonishment as the tom overcame everything thrown at him. Slowly but surely he earned her respect and slowly but surely she found herself waiting to see what he would do next.

How could she not look up to someone who never gave up? Who in turn started to push others to do things that'd thought before was impossible? How could she not admire the tom, even though he was younger? Sometimes age didn't matter and in this case, it didn't.
