Moira runs a small boutique in which most of her clothes are based
off on or heavily influenced by anything sweet and soft. Upon enterring,
your eyes are instantly met with soft washes of pink, yellow, blue and
gold draped oh-so elegantly across the store. It always smells faintly of
pink lemonade, probably because that's the signature drink that she serves
to those that decide to come take a look around her store! The
establishment is almost a perfect representation of her, elegant yet still
playful and soft.

Lucia is a city girl, born and raised. Spending her whole life walking the crowded, labyrinthine streets has lent Lucia an excellent sense of direction- something one has to have in this town. It’s no neatly planned city, but rather a sprawling complex of buildings going every which way, streets curling around however they had been laid out.

Though her primary job is that of a florist, Lucia works part time as a freelance photographer, roaming the streets she knows so well in search of the beautiful parts of life. Families reuniting in the midst of crowded train stations, a windowbox overflowing with bright flowers, a flock of birds alighting in a fountain- these small moments are what Lucia works to capture. Little things that might be easily overlooked, going about your daily business, but that are no less capable of bringing a smile to your face. One wall of her shop is adorned with these findings of hers, and Lucia loves seeing the grins they bring to her customers’ faces.

Lucia‘s demeanor is one of simple joy- she strives to maintain a positive outlook, and to touch the lives of those around her by spreading flowers and smiles. Those who know her well also recognize her massive sweet tooth- gifts of candy and fruit are common from grateful customers, and savored by their recipient. Lucia’s seemingly boundless good nature does have its limits- namely, once she has something sweet she will most certainly not be inclined to share.

Marnie's time is classically split up between work and play. During the day she works as a waitress at a resort on the more coastal side of town, near the pier and with a view of the ocean. It's not her ideal job - forcing a smile for customer service can be quite draining - but it pays the bills, and she knows she has a better view than most.

Despite being on her feet for most of the day, when she clocks off from work, she goes home only to change and then she's out and about again. A volunteer at the local dog shelter, she finds great joy in helping out the wonderful pooches who live there. She's a big lover of these canine companions, and is more than happy to clean out cages, sort out feeds, and bath the occasional muddy puppy.

But by far, her favorite part of the volunteer work had to be the walks.

There was something about walking barefoot in the sand along the beach, the air warm with evening drawing in, with a dog who's just as happy to be in your company. To her, it's soothing. Almost therapeutic. A dog will not talk back, or complain about their order. A dog will simply walk by your side, return the stick you throw, and lick your cheek in a slobbery kiss to show its gratitude. Marnie believes in kindness, in doing good, and in her eyes, a dog represents just that.
