Bruce decides to head west from the train tracks. He finds a small bird nest, but it's unfortunately empty. Getting ready to leave, he finds a brown and white Feather clinging to the edge of the nest, and decides to take it. He stays out for a while longer, and finds an Old Can next to a large boulder, but nothing else. He comes to the conclusion to head back.

Rai ends up staying out for hours, leaving at noon and not coming back until the sun began to set. Afraid that he didn't find anything to bring back, he began scouring every inch of sand he came across. Finally, within sight of the train tracks, he finds a blue bandanna clinging to a small, brown shrub. Yes!

Working together, Fiona and Bruce hope to get twice the amount of items either would on their own. And their efforts pay off. Early on into their search, the two find a Pretty Stone, which could be worth something. Soon after, half-buried in the sand, Fiona finds an Abandoned Canteen. It's completely full! Wonder what happened to the owner? Bruce finds 10 Sparks nearby, presumably from the same cat who left the canteen. On their way back, the two find a small patch of Herbs somehow battling the odds and surviving the desert. They carefully pluck some and take them.

Hecate catches a mysterious scent on the wind. They tell Athene to follow as they sprint off. They come across a body laying in the sand. It seems to be a cat that has been severely injured. Hecate offers them a home and they agree to come with them.
