Not sure if they're a succulent or flower, but it butifies any room you'll put it into and it is just my favorite as i own one myself. Also it requires little care, as they can be put in any recipient with water, even a aquarium! You just need to change the water from time to time
It is called lucky because it grows easy in household. Also there's a saying that it cames in 3 stages of luck but nevere four, so 3 stalks = happiness, wealth, and longevity. sorry for rambling! They're just amazing plants ♡♡ >.<
