I’m such a big fan of Van Gogh’s work and I love the movie Loving Vincent based on his paintings and telling his story,I highly recommend it if you haven’t seen it.

Small item:His small item is a beaded braided ceremonial necklace. Sanna grew up in a small pride far away from the valley of kings.He loved the pride very dearly and his family & they took good care of him especially when the young cub had gained his visions.A massive lioness with scars patching her fur took him in to help guide him on the pathway of being a shaman and interpreting the visions.She had known what it was like to be at his age and not know what the visions were or what they were even about. Sarafina had practically adopted Sanna as her son when his family abandoned him, it had also made up for the loss of her own mate and cubs in her youth.She was very protective of the young cub and taught him how to speak to the lion spirits.Sanna soon forgot his real family since he was constantly around Sarafina and he was a pretty impressionable young cub.As he grown into the handsome young lion, he soon took the position of warrior and apprentice to Sarafina.

Soon a band of hyenas under Apache’s command swept through the pride.War was waged on the pride for three days straight until the pride was wiped out and only Sanna was left.He stayed by the passing lions sides to keep them comfort and stayed with his mentor the longest. Sanna had gently taken the African tribal necklace from her and wears it proudly around his neck.It also helps him keep in contact with her spirit and his old prides spirit.He completes many rituals for his new pride and assists Rani in their spiritual duties.

Lady With An Ermine
Admittedly there is art I prefer possibly over this one but this one hold an impact on my mind. I love the way the ermine is painted, it is my favorite from Leonardo da Vinci.
Small item:
A while he received from a traveling group of merchants, who had taken it from an abandoned human village. The whistle has proved quite useful; he used it many times in his youth to warn of danger out in the kingdom by signaling the shrill sound. He rarely blows it now, but it also comes in handy for giving a short blow if cubs are misbehaving and need discipline.

I agree, that painting has something about it that sticks in your mind. I think it's the softness of the lady's face with the very mean looking ermine. Also, I love that Leonardo painted a buff ermine lol
