Welcome to the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project
Euphorian Thoroughbreds are a rare string of the Thoroughbred breed. They come from a single farm simply called “Euphoria” that has horses with mutated genes. These allow them to be able to possess any realistic coat or markings. Everything else about the sub-type is the same. Long, strong legs, a powerful hind, and great speed. Their eyes are soft and the breed is incredibly smart, if not a bit goofy. They love kids and have the rare ability to excel in any discipline. They can grow from 15hh-18hh, though usually somewhere in the middle.
The horses readopted through the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project are looking for a new loving home and a new job. They’ve tried racing and have either retired or decided the sport wasn’t for them. Either way, they are ready for the next chapter in their life. Some of these horses will come with a little training already, and will have their new discipline already determined. Although others you’ll get to pick how they move forwards!

Explanation: A chipper song rang in Wally's ears, the small finches dancing along the isle floor. His eyes blinked heavily and he took a step forward, heaving his weight forward onto his toes to stretch his frame. Soon enough, the grooms wood be entering the door; though always one at a time, and never together. Wallace wasn't the most observant colt on the farm, but even he noticed they must not be herd-bound creatures. His - eyes drifted asleep, time always passes easier when you can catch a few winks.

His pulse was racing, eyes wide and nostrils flared. Sounds of thunder pounded in his ears, over and over. The loudspeaker cut the noise, replacing with a boisterous "ZR Walla Whiz!" Wally anxiously chomped at his bit, being urged toward the ferocious sounds by his rider. He was obedient, though sweat covered his neck in obvious stress. Bright lights blinded him, a mass crowd clapping all around him. Wallace went up in a fearful rear, flipping himself over on his back when he accidentally leaned too far backward. He heaved himself off the sand, standing frozen in terror.

His entire frame jumped from not so sweet slumber, his pulse still racing. He walked a few laps around his stall to ease himself, though a few soon turned into a dozen. Then the first groom came purring up the drive, and Wally pushed his head over his stall wall. He was always first to greet the grooms, it was sort of a mild competition among the barn horses. The knob turned and he bellowed out in excitement- soon he would be munching his breakfast.

Shortly after feeding, the groom walked up with his wagon. "Goodmorning, Wallace." The stallion stepped over respectfully, until the groom's headset began blaring loud sounds. Wallace went up in a buck, squealing bbefore spinning quick circles in the corner. The groom rushed out of the stall, silencing his music and breathing a bit heavy.

Wally cannot cope with his issue.
He has not found his coping method.

Explanation: this guy just despises mainstream music. No particular genre. But he's into malt shop oldies like Paul Anka, The Temptations, Dion and the Belmonts, etc. This guy loves some good oldies. He likes music with beats and a change in rhythm. He doesn't like staying conformed to one tune. He likes the differences in all the oldies and how it wasn't all about one specific subject. Anytime he hears music he doesn't like, he doesn't complain. He's actually quite calm. He won't go out of his way to listen to this music, but he won't ask someone to change it. Not everyone likes the same things and he's fine with it. His body though, disagrees. It gives him goosebumps and makes him slightly on edge, especially heavy metal. Heavy metal to him is like hearing that annoying loud ringing in your ears. It's like listening to someone just yell to some heavy guitar and drum beats, and it confuses him, more than anything, on why people would want to listen to someone yelling. He'd rather listen to Rocking Robin and scream "tweet tweet" at the top of his lungs. At least it makes sense to him.
Monty likes music with meaning. He doesn't want another vague story of a heartbreak. He wants to know what happened and how it's handled. He wants to hear music that has soul behind it. Enthusiam. Excitement. He wants to hear the sorrow and anger. Not just inaudible screaming about glory and incubus. Whatever that is. He wants things he can dance to and not just a little square dance. He just simply likes oldies. He was raised on it, and he's noticed that a lot of others enjoy more mainstream things and not many listen to good oldies. He enjoys passing on good, child friendly music to generations who've never heard such a thing. He enjoys passing on and keeping alive old music, especially in a day in age where it's starting to be forgotten.

Explanation: Dusty can’t stand dubstep remixes of classical music. He pins his ears and huffs when he first notices it, and if it doesn’t stop, he will continuously whinny and squeal as if trying to drown out the noise. It’s the strangest thing; he’s done many tests to the likes of Mozart and Vivaldi and he’s listened calmly to dubstep as his owner brushes him, but combining them drives him up the wall. No one really understands how he knows the difference between original dubstep and the remixes—perhaps it’s the presence of the orchestral instruments—but the more popular theory at the barn is that he might even recognize the classical melodies through the electronics. After a string of trial and error, they determined he does have a stronger reaction to songs he’s heard before.

His least favorite song by far is the Klutch remix of Beethoven’s “Für Elise.” It seems likely he hates this one so much because it starts with the familiar solo piano of the original piece, which he has taken a liking to after hearing it so many times for a freestyle test, and then descends into electronic chaos. Now, when he hears both the original and the remix, he waits tensely for the first thirty seconds or so to judge whether he should scream for somebody to turn it off. He usually doesn’t need to because the person who had been playing the music around him in the first place has long since learned to skip that song in their playlist, but he waits and warily watches the phone or speaker until he can be sure it’s his song, not the bass-boosted atrocity of a dubstep remix that gets him so riled up. (At least, that’s what his owner calls it when referring to his obvious feelings toward the music.)
