A while back (by a whirl I means years), I held a competition to have someone make lines for an adoptable species I wanted to start. However, I’m not talented at making adopts, and never managed to get much traction in terms of artists and the like. The species died off and, while I started making a reboot a bit later, I never actually did anything to start it.

So now, I’m hoping to sell this species off to someone who will actually do something with it. Things like character art (or high quality characters) and C$ are cool, but I am definitely looking for pets as a priority.

The lines for this species were made by Steamturtle, and include:
- adult lines
- child lines
- several different faces for the mask
- gender symbols
- color palette
- broken and normal lamps

Before you make an offer, I have some rules for the species that MUST be followed, so please take them into consideration before offering:
- the species was initially called Lantern Lights and had a lot of weirdly complicated lore that I came up with. You by no means need to keep any of it; in all honesty I am all for the new owner coming up with new world building for them and renaming them.
- you are not obligated to keep these lines, but if you do, please credit Steamturtle. I will add you either way if you win so you can poke around in them.
- if you end up doing nothing with them within five months, I have full rights to take them back to try and recommend them elsewhere. I don’t want to sell them and just see them move to rot in someone else’s art gallery. (In this scenario, I am not obligated to give you back what you paid me. This is simply included as a failsafe in case something wacky happens; I do not intend to and sincerely hope I will not have to ever use this rule)
- I would like to be made aware of any changes in ownership that might happen to the species over time. If someone else is given ownership, these rules will still apply.
- I do not want this to be a species that is just given to everyone as access for free range (aka every one made is an MYO with no official artists or anything) or so that it’s closed to only close friends. I’d really like to see these be made into an adoptable species with official adopts and staff. (Though not required, I would love to somehow be involved in the staff - I would love to be a moderator or archivist)
- honestly just please show these babies the love they deserve. That’s what most of this boils down to.

Initially this was an auction.
However, I'm not really interested in maintaining an auction, so now I am simply looking for an offer that I am interested in. c: I'll sell these once I get one that I like.
