Welcome to the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project
Euphorian Thoroughbreds are a rare string of the Thoroughbred breed. They come from a single farm simply called “Euphoria” that has horses with mutated genes. These allow them to be able to possess any realistic coat or markings. Everything else about the sub-type is the same. Long, strong legs, a powerful hind, and great speed. Their eyes are soft and the breed is incredibly smart, if not a bit goofy. They love kids and have the rare ability to excel in any discipline. They can grow from 15hh-18hh, though usually somewhere in the middle.
The horses readopted through the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project are looking for a new loving home and a new job. They’ve tried racing and have either retired or decided the sport wasn’t for them. Either way, they are ready for the next chapter in their life. Some of these horses will come with a little training already, and will have their new discipline already determined. Although others you’ll get to pick how they move forwards!

The nudge in my side is soft, gentle. I obey, placing one leg in front of the other, moving sideways. The crowd of alien people are silent, judging, as they watch me. I canter forward, smoothly, relishing the feel of the speed and freedom. I slow to a trot and a walk, and the aliens applaud, while i blink my dark blue eyes, stunned. You know, maybe this isn't so bad, I think as my rider dismounts from my back, and hugs my neck. The aliens are interesting creatures; they jeer they yell, they cheer when you excel. It feels like an environment that is prejudiced and judged. I'm not sure if I like it. This is the first time they have been at me. I remember clear as day that one time I had tried the jumping. I was not having it. I had jumped, but I felt uncomfortable and another strange, eerie feeling, like someone else in my own skin. A loud scream had echoed around, and I remember myself jumping back with fright. I remember trial riding, how the animals had jeered me, calling me a servant, a slave, something no good. I had been hurt and bitten anyone who had tried to come near me. All of those times I had never felt as elegant and graceful as I did now, sliding and gliding, sideways and back and forth, movements I had recognised, that made me feel free, freer than anything else I had ever done.

Later-(three years)
Her dark neck curved, her white spots gleaming, her blue eyes shining. One hoof placed carefully in front of another, graceful and lithe. She was wanted, she was hunted, she was in constant pursuit and danger, but right now, at this time she was beautiful and uncaring. Her care and passion was in her stride, one step at a time, her body like liquid-smooth and graceful like the stars spread across the sky-constellations of beauty and tales as old as time itself.

Caller flicked her tail nervously as she walked past the jumps, her rider letting her sniff as investigate them; they were all small, none even coming up to her knee, though it scared her. This experience was very new to her, and jumping was still a bit hard for her.

She trotted over the poles as her ears flicked back to focus on her handler; feeling them posting with each of her steps. She enjoyed trotting over the poles, often hearing other horses say that jumping wasn't much different, she hoped so.
Caller was asked to canter, gathering herself as she was brought around the arena twice; bold eyes watching each jump as she approached and passed it. Then she was lined up to go over one.

She hesitated slightly, though she barely had to pick up her legs to get over, tail flicking as she thought to herself, that was easy! She bobbed her head excitedly as her rider praised her, scratching her neck as they approached the second jump; this one slightly bigger than the last. This time, Caller didn't hesitate, finding a new love in the exercise. Her rider, too, knew she would grow to be a star.

Caller approached the large jump assuming it to be 1.10m jump, ears perked forward as she jumped. She had grown better at carrying herself and landing, understood strides a bit more than before; she didn't just jump when it was a "life or death" situation anymore, being able to time it.
She could hear the buzzing of people as her and her rider went around their course; it was their first show ever together, and Caller was nervous from it all, though being paired with her human did help; feeling their reassurance pats and sweet words before and after each jump gave Caller the courage and determination to get through the course. And they only knocked down one poll throughout the whole thing. The mare was happy to have one second that day, even making friends with the two other horses; first and third place, touching their noses and playing with them as they stood idly.

Caller, normally cautious and weary of new things, was confident when she was jumping and competing. She loved the sport almost as much as she loved rolling in fresh mud.
