not gonna lie when i saw this prompt, my brain immediately jumped to oliver and company ! growing up it was one of my favorite movies, nd i still have the vhs for it to this day. i had kinda a hard time picking between the songs, as all of them hold a special place in my heart are still pretty golden to this day, but i decided to go with georgette's little introduction song... i think she's still one of my favorites from this movie? i just love how overdramatic she is nd i think she has a really good design, it suits her personality nd also allows her to really easily express thoughts nd feelings without outright speaking them (though she also makes sure to speak them lol). i also think i'd let her inspire the direction that i'd go with this kal's personality !

Ok, so I feel a little embarrassed for choosing this song
But when I was thinking about the prompt and about childhood animated movies, and nostalgia,
this was honestly the first thing that came to me.

So for me VeggieTales has been I big part of my life as me, and my sisters grew up watching.
And it has been something I loved to watch even to this day.
Because as I children it was fun to watch and it helped me to retain the stories of the Bible.

And so why I chose this song in particular is because for me the Larry boy franchise has always been my favorite.

Personally my top favorite of the franchise is Larry boy and the rumor weed. But scene Larry boy's theme song is in the fib from outer space I decided to go with that one.

And the reason why this is so nostalgic to me is because the only time I ever owned this movie was when we had it on VHS.

And as an embarrassing fun fact I remember that we once owned a Larry boy plush toy, and his plungers were actually Velcro.

So yeah, that's my choice❤️.

there is something special in barbie songs for me personally. they remind me of the times when i was young, careless, when i didn't know how complicated everything in the world could be. every day i rushed home from my school to watch some barbie movies in my free time. i had so many DVDs with almost all barbie movies that were available in my country, and somehow i didn't ever get tired of them, and watched them non-stop, singing along with the songs that i didn't fully understand at the time. nowadays, every time i listen to the barbie songs, they bring me this bittersweet nostalgy feeling. i wish to get back to the days when it was easy and fun. sometimes i find myself unable to think straight, sometimes i'm afraid that i can't move forward; but at the same time i always remind myself

When I saw the picture of this kalon I imagined she's been sick a lot of her life and having to be in and out of hospitals from a health condition (I'm not sure what though).

She's very artistic and outgoing, and spends a lot of her time doing the same things over and over again to occupy her time, kind of like Rapunzel does in Tangled while she lives her life stuck in one small place her whole life until the day she's free from it.

I also envisioned that the drawing of the kalon is what she looks like when she's finally able to live her life, whether it's because she got over her condition or is able to better manage it.

It's kinda funny, this is the second or third time I looked at this kalon and I instantly thought of all of this along with the song.
My mind can work like that sometimes, and other times take me forever just to think of a name, lol
