--one summer he&his dad rented a beach house near her own home. Bailey was ecstatic to hear that there was another kid her age in town!!
--she roped him into all sorts of adventures and things. it was a pretty wild week
--they're still in contact to this day; after he went back to the city she sent him a gift: a driftwood walking stick similar to her own, painted with scenes from their adventures that summer.
