Late at night Pip watched the ocean waves waiting for the mysterious "sea-kalon", but for hours there was nothing.
Pip's head was bobbing from staying awake.
Upon hearing a splash, Pip shot up with his fur standing on end.
He looked over the ocean for what made the splash, but to no avail.
Just then, Pip had an idea; he would try feeding it.
He ran to the shacks, as he neared them he tripped and knocked over a row of surfboards.
Panicking, he grabbed a container from a shack and ran back to his spot.
Standing at the shore, Pip called out to the "sea-kalon" with no response.
He then opened the container to find he grabbed... FISH FOOD!?
"Ah man, what am I gonna do with fish food!? What if it is a kalon? Kalons don't eat fish food!" Pip shouted as he swung the container back-and-forth, flinging feed on the water, "oh no!" he yelled, then slamming the container against his face, spilling more, "gah!".
Whilst Pip was having a fit, the "sea-kalon" emerged and was snacking on the floating flakes.
Pip froze when he heard something that sounded like a goldfish chowing down a four-course meal.
He turned slowly to see the kalon slurping up every flake of food, once it saw him, the kalon swam away.
"Wait! I've got more foooood~" he called waving the container.
In the distance the kalon poked its head out like a crocodile.
Vigorously shaking the container, Pip had thrown enough food to feed a hundred clownfish, but it worked, the kalon swam over and gobbled up every ounce.
Eventually he coaxed them on land, "If you tell me your name, you can have the rest" Pip encouraged. They looked in Pip's eyes, smiled and said "I'm Chobi, what's yours?".
