Marrowack
“Marrowack was my very first Pokémon! My parents were very disapproving of Pokémon trainers, and did NOT want me to be one. So, naturally, I ran off to disobey them. I didn’t have the luxury of a starter, so I had to catch this guy without a battle. It took about 2 weeks for me to befriend him, and then he wanted to come along. He’s very special to me, a best friend! He was one of the first people to trust me.”

Houndoom
“Now this girl has an interesting story! A few months into my journey, Marrowack and I ran into a gang. They all had these massive, rather scary Houndooms that they were ordering to attack us. I noticed that one was very frightened, and obviously didn’t want to attack. Marrowack eventually got my message across about teaming up, and we fought our way out! She’s a real sweetheart despite her looks. She’s the heart of the team.”

Blissey
“I’ve always been a pretty tough guy. I wear mostly black, had boxing competitions back home, and had the all-around reputation for the ‘bad boy.’ But my favorite color? Pink. And when I saw Blissey, I just knew I had to have her as a friend. We found her in the forest, using all of her energy to heal the Pokémon who had managed to escape the poachers that came here. We helped to scare off the poachers, and she gratefully accepted my offer to join me. She’s always been a giver at heart.”

Absol
“We found Absol at an abandoned warehouse. Some people who lived near by told us his trainer had dropped him off there, and never returned. It had been months, but the Absol refused to leave. We found him — terribly thin and in rough shape — sleeping under a collapsed column. It took a long time to convince him to leave. He was so loyal to his trainer that he still hurts for them, even today.”

Metagross
“We stumbled across two Metagross battling in the city. We jumped in at the last moment and saved the losing Metagross. They were extremely thankful. I still don’t know what the battle was over.”

Garchomp
“I found her egg with a note, that said ‘take good care, I can’t.’ The desperation there has kept me protective over her, even now that she’s evolved. I wonder who her last owner used to be. I’m glad that they were brave enough to give her up.”

- This one is named Cricket. I love him and would easily die for him. We are best friends, and I feel honored to call him my first Pokemon. Cricket also loves treats, and will do anything for them - including lots of fun tricks like "sit sometimes when I feel like it" and "win a battle when I sort of want to but maybe won't". 
- This one is named Bella. She is the only one in my group willing to battle, and she's pretty good! I've taught her a lot, and she is pretty good at what she does. It's fun to work together with her - it's like she knows what I want her to do before I even give the command! The only downside to her is that she does knock down and eat my potted plants. But... that's fine. I guess.
