Chizzler can be best described as a stuffy professor or intellectual. He has a regal bearing and believes that everyone should strive to gain knowledge (or to “reach the light”). He has a distaste towards those who feel comfortable with their current base of knowledge as he believes that without a constantly-updated understanding of the world around you in your chosen field, you will eventually become ignorant and someone better and more knowledgeable will take your place. Understandably, this has driven away most who would otherwise seek to become his friend as they can’t stand his overbearing presence and constant judging.

In addition to a love for “traditional” intellectual hobbies such as science and literature, Chizzler loves music. Put him in a room with another music-lover and he can spend hours discussing and arguing the finer points of compositions, composers, genres, and preferences. Here, his knowledge is practical as well as theoretical, as he has studied several instruments including the flute, the piano, and the viola.

Finally, Chizzler has a soft spot for pets and prefers them far more to children, which he sees as a useful means for a species to survive. While he has not found a suitable pet, he has been considering something more fantastical that can serve both a function and an aesthetic purpose, in a similar manner to how those who pursue falconry can claim that their craft serves a useful purpose while also continuing an exclusive tradition.
