Backstory:

In the western territory, there was a solitary rat who barely spoke a word to those who he passed by. Folks called him "Ringo the Rascal" since he always seemed to get himself into a mess with the law. He has always been on the run since he can remember.

I'd love to add more, but kept it to a limit of 50 words. xD
