How do they cope with stress
Wolf has a rather simple three step plan on how to deal with large amounts of stress:

• Step One: Remove himself from the situation and find a quiet, dark place to curl up and hide in. This is to provide a calm, safe place so he can either distract himself from the stress or let him think through it enough for it to no longer be stressful.
• Step Two: Hum quietly to himself, generally to the tune of lullabies his mother sang him, as he sits or lies there. This is to distract himself from what was stressing him and gives him new thoughts to occupy his mind, namely the memories he has of his mother or the tune itself.
• Step Three (optional): If all else fails and he is still stressed to the forgotten fields and back, Wolf will generally just take a nap. Sleep always helps clear his mind of the stress and sometimes his dreams will help him realise something he missed.

Overall, this plan works extremely well for him and is very good at reducing the stress he’s facing in any given situation. He is generally a calm cat nowadays, but in his youth this three step plan got used a lot.

How do they cope with stress
By sitting in silence.
He usually has to deal with everyone and everyone's problems, and so his need to relax is him distancing him from himself and running away. It helps him think how to get out of his problems and solve problems, as well as simply just enjoy the silence.
