dream kalons:TolliverThis guy is a runner-up prize made for a kalon I tried out for, and I like his design even more than the original. Just so soft and fluffy!
Pretty PrincessShe’s just so beautiful! The pastel colours are so nice together and look at the mane and tail! Shiny and pretty! So nice, just like a real dream.
By GengarSo this one is a little different. I really like the short, floofy mane here, but this one also portrays attitude. Which I love. Plus the colours are so nice.
AmirI tried out for this babe. I love pretty much anything by Schnuffel Bunny, and this one just got me right away. It’s the look on his face, coupled with his vibrant design, I was grabbed by the contrast. He’s so bright, why does he look so nervous?
OliveI tried out for this one too. I mean, just look at that fur. Like the swirls on the surface of a gas planet. I liked the worried expression and the eyes hidden under the bangs. What a cutie I mean come on.
extra:“How long is he gonna keep up this tough guy act?” Asked the announcer, rhetorically, over the loudspeaker.
As long as I have to, Vishany thought, many metres below in the ring. He was just a kit, but he had taken down opponent after opponent for his Master.
When will it be enough? The huge combatant before him charged, and young Vishany flinched, waiting for the pain. Instead, he awoke as he was tossed out of the pile of blankets he was sleeping in.
A dream. He got up, shaking his head to clear it. He was belowdecks on a ship, on his way between continents. Based on the way the room was pitching and rocking, there was a storm brewing. Vishany sighed, heading back to his heap. This wasn’t any of his concern. He just wanted to get as far as possible from his old life. He stuck his head under the blankets and burrowed his way back in. Kalons and other animals, sentient or not, weren’t charged for ocean voyages any more than the ship’s cat, as long as they provided some service to the crew. Vishany was a rope-minder, but he wasn’t part of the night crew.
Besides, this journey is almost over. They were only a few hours from the Southern continent by now, even in the storm. Vishany curled up and tried to return to his slumber, convincing himself he was unneeded.
Dammit. He couldn’t do it. Someone might need his help. He pulled himself out of the blankets once more and headed abovedecks.
Outside, the storm was raging. Crewmen scrambled across the deck, tying things down while trying not to be swept away themselves. Vishany’s eyes took in the whole scene in an instant. He stood with his four legs wide to keep himself stable and watched carefully.
There! He took off across the deck, arriving just in time to grab the end of a rope that had come off its hook. A deckhand gratefully took it from the Kalon and secured it to its hook again. Despite the turmoil around him, Vishany felt good. It was nice to be needed. There were important things he could do, here and now. It helped to keep him from slipping back into the past.
