day or night; Night - The darkness is when Iris feels it is okay to come out. It's quiet and the moon doesn't judge him as the sun would. It's calm and the nocturnal creatures are often very wonderful to hear when he comes out to the moonlight. It's also a wonderful time for Iris to read, imagine. He gets his best ideas for his stories in the darkness as his novels are typically based off either the calm or the dark. Just really depends on his mood at the time what he writes. Still, the moon will forever keep him grounded in its calm peacefulness.

day or night; "Day or night? Why, the day, of course." Luna is like the moon, chasing her eternal love, the sun. She loves the soft warmth, the bright light. The vibrant colors that paint the sky when it leaves and returns, the way it brings the songs of birds and the blooming of flowers, how it bathes everything in a soft glow. But her main reason to love the sun? Well... her absolute favorite person in the world absolutely lights up when the sun is out, their love for it caused her to change her views, and appreciate day more than night.

DAY

Rising with the sun has always been something Jose has done. At some point,
it had just been a personal choice, but now, as the elder unlocks her shed,
reasons have changed. With her greying hair pulled back loosely in a braid,
she got to work. Caring for sunstream mushrooms was never easy, there were
specific instructions to follow. However, it was worth it. They were particularly
expensive, and Jose made a hefty amount selling them at the market. The
mushrooms always grew twice their size in the daytime before shrinking at night,
which makes daytime much more favourable.

The moonlight is soft, blanketing the misty forest in soft silver hues. It bounces off her tied hair, shimmering in the deep violet of a midnight sky. The day folk are asleep, no one will bother her until the sun rose again. The world is hers, if only for a few more hours.
A rustling from the bushes
