compliments: I recently stumbled upon this community and I simply adore the way they look, especially for this pet ;w; It hits all my criteria for amazing design.

development: As a pup, she was really shy and quiet, which made her an easy target for bullying. They would try their best to make her life miserable, until one faithful day, when she had enough.

She finally had stood up to her bullies, surprising not just people around her, but herself too. She felt... powerful, smart, like she could do anything, which was just the opposite of what the bullies were trying to achieve.

It was at that moment that she realized that they were trying to bring her down only because she was above them. She decided that she won't take crap from anyone anymore and slowly, but surely, she became a confident, loud and proud persona, proud of her colours and of who she is.

Ribbon is a local DJ, part time baby sitter, and a VIP at the biggest arcade in town. She loves her job and taking care of kits while their parents are away, but by far her most favorite thing to do is waste quarters at the arcade, trying to beat the top scores of any and all games there. That's how she got her VIP title, defeating two game masters and outranking them on the two most popular games there. She's a very extroverted gal who likes to make friends with anyone and everyone she comes across, and will do just about anything to put a smile on someone else's face. But she wasn't always this way.

Ribbon used to be pretty depressed. Her parents barely had enough money to pay bills and put food on the table, and the fact that she couldn't help them was agonizing. She ran everywhere to try and pick up any sort of job to help her parents out, but they always said she was either too young, too inexperienced, or 'just not suited'. She tried selling her belongings to help get the cash her parents needed, but even then it wasn't enough. And while her parents appreciated the help, they didn't want her selling her things and running herself ragged just to get some extra cash. When she heard about a DJ apprenticeship at her local club, she was all but too eager to leap at the opportunity. While she knew absolutely nothing about music at the time, she was very excited to try and learn to get that extra money she needed to help her 'rents out.

When she first started out, as anyone without any kind of experience would be, she was terrible. She couldn't, for the life of her, figure out how a DJ table worked, what kind of buttons to press, which switches to flick, and when to add a scratch and when not to. She almost broke the extremely expensive equipment on more than one occasion, often forgetting not to bring drinks anywhere near it. But, just as she was eager to start, she was DETERMINED to learn from her mistakes and get better. Her mentor saw just what kind of potential she had, and after a few months of being under his apprenticeship, he decided to hire her to get her more experience. She was lucky to have an incredibly patient teacher to take her under his wing and walk with her down the road of being a turntable master, who gently nudged her back down the right road if she started to deviate from where she was headed. And after only a year of trying to get her name out there, she started raking in money like there was no tomorrow. She still got support from her teacher when she needed it, of course. But now that she was on her own, she could support her parents right up until they decided to retire and live the rest of their lives out in peace and comfort.

Wιℓ∂ƒιяє - for gifting me a wonderful art piece of one of my kals Azure during the 2018 summer camp event. The piece is amazing! I've had difficulty replicating Azure's dezign when drawing her, so I really appreciate the effort that must have gone into that artwork.

Lillybear - thank you so much for clarifying the edits on my first kalon, Cave! fawnpi - I adore your art! Both your kalon art and other artwork, I followed you almost as soon as the oekaki follow feature was added. You're incredibly skilled and it genuinely makes my day better whenever you post something new.

Tealea - your designs are just stunning. Everything you draw looks so good, from your art to your kalon designs and everything else! Everything you create looks amazing to me. I always look forward to seeing whatever you draw next, you're another person who's art brightens up my day.

fiji - your artist search entries are amazing, i really like the most recent one! Your sort of style isn't something seen often within the community (at least in my experience) and I honestly think your work stands out to me in a good way because of the uniqueness. Your most recent artist search entry for kalons has a great design with colors that work really well together and the edits all look neat as well.

Rabbit - I'd believe we're all thankful for your work as the current archivist, so I have to mention you here for everything you're doing for kalons.
