sagestreak was a small loner she-cat with a habit of being too stubborn. one cat bet her she would not make the jump to the other side of the canyon of kindlefire. she had lived on cliff side's side. But when she attempted the jump and made it, she had overshot it and landed in a clump of brambles. OUCH! she did not know what to do next. Stuck, she found herself on kindler territory. She wandered for a little while until she stumbled upon a patrol who took the lost cat in and accepted her into their clan. Then they named her sagestreak. She was thankful for her new clan

Falling in love had never been in the cards for Bearheart, although the tom had nothing stopping him from finding love. There was nothing wrong with him, he was well-liked and a strong warrior he just didn’t do love and everyone knew it. He liked it that way though, even when others would tell him he was missing out on something he just shrugged and said he wasn’t missing out that bad. The idea of kits intrigued him but they were so many in the clan that plays with them was never an issue.

Of course, Bearheart’s world was turned upside down when Honeyfern joined the clan. That’s how it works though, love makes everything change.

The molly had lost her own clan in a fire, the smell of smoke still carrying on her pelt when she was found even though she’d lived to many moons as a traveling loner. Loch had brought her back and Bearheart was put in charge of her until it was decided if she would join the clan or move on when she was ready.

The falling in love came slowly and over time, Honeyfern was mourning even after so long she’d lost her family and her home. So Bearheart kept close and found himself growing closer with the she-cat, spending time with her when he didn’t have to and listening to her stories about her clan to help her heal.

He hadn’t even noticed he’d fallen in love with her when the words were spoken out loud of the first time. Shocking himself probably more than the molly, he’d helped her heal and in turn, she loved him. But how could he have fallen in love without realizing it was happening? Was that how it really worked? Just as simple as that.

That’s the thing about falling, sometimes it’s so slow and calm that you don’t even realize it’s happening. It happens so naturally and so easily that it just feels right to fall.

“You know I thought for the longest time that maybe I wasn’t meant to fall in love,” Bearheart told her one day.

“I think everyone thinks that at some point, but you did and I’ll take it that it was with me,” Honeyfern responded.

There were so many good interpretations for this prompt and i loved it. Kazin really fooled me here though. At first i thought oh she just fell in love and then bam! fooled you Mew she fell for her mother's lies. Congrats

Teaselthorn fell into the wrong paws. She let her heart fall for someone she shouldn't have followed, someone she admired so much that she would have gone to the ends of the earth for this cat. Try that she did, though it wasn't a great experience for the cat.

Growing up was not easy for this she-cat. Her mother was headstrong, power-hungry, and the deputy of the clan. Her ambitions were set on being the leader, wanting to turn the clan into her own dream - a new world, as she called it. She spun tales of 'saving' the clan, of making everything right. As a kit, Teaselthorn thought her mother's ideas were beautiful - though the dreams were short-lived. While her mother was plotting her takeover of the clan, pushing the current leader into an icy river, another cat was witness to the atrocity her mother committed. The warrior pushed Teaselthorn's mother into the same river that had claimed their leader, leaving Teaselthorn motherless, confused... and on a path of vengeance. She wanted to see the vision of a new world come true, wanted to succeed where her mother could not.

Journeying to find the cat that ended her mother's dream, Teaselthorn's vision ran red. She only saw her own reasons, not really thinking that perhaps her mother could have been the evil one. Once she found the cat, and initiated her attack plan, everything seemed to fall around her. Her world came crashing down as the other cat explained what had really happened.

Since that day, Teaselthorn has questioned everything she has known about this 'world' her mother wanted. She wants to redeem herself from what she sees as her fall into insanity, a fall into the wrong paws. She wants to prove to the world that she is not her mother, and will not become her mother, despite what she believed for most of her life.
