hidden in the forest, a blossom hides
a pale complexion and fire in her eyes
trapped within an everlasting brawl
over her mind must she truly thrall

a beauty's forbidden yet eternal sleep
once a brave man whom fell quite meek
exploring the forbidden woods does he
when he comes across those pillars three

concealing a gate to his long lost love
with only thought's of his eyes belove
with merely a flick of his right hand
the gates trembled open exposing the land

a pale face carved into the bark of a tree
to the north of the eastern whipped sea
the man's hope would never dwindle
as he searched for the woman with a spindle

the anger inside him was quite immense
when he found her caged without an offense
sealed with a righteous kiss cried his echo
as his form contorted into a gecko's
to join his love forever a creature
and close his eyes as the garden's feature

She was careful as she picked her way down the large oak she’d been perching in to stare across the wide open grassy field near her home and tempted her to leave her safety in order to explore that wondrous tall grass that was never in the jungle at her feet. Her curiosity started to spill into her paws, slinking to the edge of the clearing and staring in mixed awe and joy at such bright and vibrant flowers. They reminded her so much of those bright birds that flew around her home tree. However, when she turned to her original path forward she halted abruptly, face nearly buried in a blossom of those orange flowers. She’d never seen a ground flower before and the wondrous speckled petals were soft to the touch, a single stripe ran down the middle but did not quite meet the tips of the petals, leading back to a deep middle familiar to the jungle flowers that would bloom. The scent was quite powerful with so many, but it was not overwhelming, only mildly pleasant, and unable to help herself, Hanahaki bounded into the flowers, kicking up a few flowers and scattering petals everywhere. They drifted down onto her back, and playfully she batted them off, she turned to continue her frolicking, only to freeze as something landed on her nose, plumage and the petals on her neck poofing up in surprise. It was beautiful, rich and dark purple striped and dotted with black and white and with strange little orange eyes on its lower appendages. She held perfectly still afraid to scare it off and watched in fascination as the wings fluttered, glittering in the sunlight.

short story: "the wind is different today." Lilypad thought. she stepped into the darkness outside her door. Lily sighed. "when will this darkness be lifted?" a single tear streamed from her eye, thinking about when her home was bright, when the feather boas in her village would frolic in the grass and flowers, the sun smiling upon them. Lily thought of the beautiful crystalsun flower that had resided in the heart of the small village. she sighed again, "i must go to work." a terrible clan had invaded and succeeded in taking the little, peaceful village over. now there was only darkness and tears in the once happy crystalsun village. The clan, called twisted justice, had taken siege over the village, and nobody was allowed to leave. they had put the occupants to work, mining coal, rubies, diamonds, and other precious materials. Lily ran, then tripped over a small, cloaked figure. "who?" Lily managed to say before falling asleep. she woke up in a strange burrow, the small hooded figure next to her. "finally ya woke up. thought you were dead for a second. ay whats with it scaring the death out of me, eh?" a confused expression crossed Lilies face. "Ah don't talk much, huh? wellllll that's pre'y common" Lily wondered why the small creature had removed the t's from pretty. Lily sighed. "who are you?" the animal seemed shocked, then a mischievous smile spread across her face. "so you can talk eh? well i'm Jacky, i'm a bunny, and welcome to the resistance, now follow me" Lily followed Jacky through a long tunnel. many curious faced peered at Lily from under a giant petal. Lily gasped. "A crystalsun flower petal!" she nearly yelled. "this is the cure the the darkness looming over us! this will drive out Twisted Justice!" Jacky looked confused. Lilypad grabbed the petal. "You'll thank me later!" she yelled over her shoulder as she ran. getting out of the tunnel, she saw she was were the crystalsun flower had been. she set the petal in a golden petal-shaped indent in the ground. suddenly a huge crystalsun flower sprouted. rays of sunshine truck through the darkness, twisted justice soldiers started to run about, confused. feather boas everywhere came out to see the beautiful sun. the sun got brighter, and brighter, and brighter! it was blinding, then suddenly it got to the normal amount of brightness. The Twisted Justice soldiers and members where gone. the darkness was gone. flowers were everywhere, and butterflies and bees where fluttering and buzzing about. the feather boas cheered and whooped and began to frolic about in the flowers. Lily had saved Crystalsun village.

I've been really busy with school especially as exams, APs, and SATs come along. I've practically uninstalled/removed all distractions from my phone, so I haven't been active lately. I'll judge asap, but it won't be this week neither the Monday of the next.
