Nagaline:Trix (73451)
Prompt:
Trix wonders what the seasons feel like from outside of their egg- and they wonder what they look like too! But... they’re still to shy to emerge, so must of what they know is based on the whispers their caretakers offer up during the night, trying to coax the little one out of the egg with stories. They’ve heard about winter- the time when they first could’ve emerged from their egg- and how it’s skies bring a cold snow, pure white and graceful as it falls. They know only from the stories the beautiful colors of fall, and the way the wind dances through it. They’ve heard of the intense heat of the summer, perfect for basking in... but Trix thinks they will like spring best. They love the was the birds seem to call out extra loudly, as though they are happier now that the winter is over. They love the warmth that starts to reach the egg from a sun that brings forth life gently. And they adore the idea of flowers- delicate little things, but beautiful, and the precursor to all the fruits of the future. They’ve heard how it may not have all the fiery colors of fall, but had more color than any other. And they adore the idea of it- how it promises happiness and cheer, new life and growth. How it shows a new beginning... and they wonder if maybe, just maybe, this spring is when they should finally hatch, for when better to do so than their favorite season?
