The Villages are a harsh place, one that Oakflight does not visit often. Instead, when she must travel out of camp she finds herself returning to the Halstein's small farm. The large family is poor, surviving on scraps, but always so kind-hearted - to the point of feeding her some of their own limited food. The Halstein's youngest daughter, Monika, was the one who first started calling her Wheatster.

Oakflight both loves and loathes the name, as it's adorable coming from the little girl's mouth but it's also a testament to her getting lost within the wheat field on their farm. Dusty had warned her of the yellowy maze, but she did not listen; it was just a crop after all. If it wasn't for the distant chattering of the Halstein family Oakflight may have not found her way out.

Though her journey was suppose to be a one time thing, she finds herself returning to the farm often just to hear Monika cheer "Wiietser! Wiietser!"

This was very cute and I liked the idea of her returning to the farm just to hear a child talk to her. I would love to hear more about your clan in the future :3
