Hawk was born in a barn to a small colony of barn cats. His father, Red, and his mother, Bird, were extremely close with each other and he grew up as a happy single kit… well, at least for the first few months of his life. When he was about four moons old his mother and father started arguing – little fights at first, but as Hawk reached 6 moons, they would get rather aggressive with each other. Fearing the worst, Hawk would always scamper away when the fights broke out. One day his mother told his father that he had to leave – and Hawk had to go with him. She told them that everything had to go.
Red and Hawk left, casting sad glances over their shoulders at the home they had both grown up in. His father reassuring Hawk that, ‘Nothing could last forever.’ They travelled for several moons before they found another barn to stay in – with another colony. However, after only being there for a few weeks Red got very ill and passed away. Distraught, Hawk left his newfound home in search for his childhood barn. Not completely knowing where he was going, Hawk ended up getting lost and finding himself in a twoleg country town.
There he found a young she-cat, named Clover, and the two fell in love. After several moons their Hawk reached 16 moons old and he realised he wasn’t that happy where he was in life. Talking with Clover and hoping that she would understand, Clover misunderstood his meaning and got very upset with Hawk. Eventually their argument ended in Clover telling him that he had to go and, heart-broken and crushed, Hawk left his life behind.
Again after travelling for awhile he found Wishclan, where he now resides, and asked to be named ‘Redhawk’ in memory of his father. He tries to share his love to all the cats there and he’s become pretty submissive – if a cat starts an argument he’ll quiet down and avoid the cat’s gaze. It always startles the other cats, which don’t know his backstory, as usually he’s extremely strong and brave.
His past changed Redhawk - either for the better or worse - but he tries to battle through the fear and loneliness and strives his hardest to be the best cat he can.

"Momma, I'm scared." Bramble whispered, his eyes wide with fear as he watched the rain fall outside their makeshift den. He was shaking, though it wasn't because of the cold.

"I know, little Bramble," his mother said softly, wrapping him closer to her body with her tail. "You are not alone, you are right at home - here with me, little Bramble, everything will be alright. Go back to sleep."

Bramble sighed softly, nestling into his mother's soft fur. "Don't let the monsters get me," he whispered, barely audible over the rain, letting himself drift off.

"I will always be here," his mother whispered to the small kit's sleeping form. "There will always be a light in the darkness."

In the days leading up to the rain, Bramble had been a very happy and bold kit. He had two sisters and a brother, and they were always playing and getting into trouble, with Bramble as their ringleader. They lived with their mother - a kind she-cat, who always tried to give her kits the best and protect them, no matter the cost.

But a freak accident left Bramble and his mother alone.

A heavy rain began one day, creating it's own hazardous conditions. Flooding was the biggest threat, as Bramble and his siblings were too young to climb easily, but the small family made do. It was the other animals in the forest that posed a threat to the cats, and a particularly hungry badger, having been washed out of it's den in the longstanding rain, wandered into the path of Bramble's family. It was only Bramble that managed to escape with his life, though after the badger attack he had been afraid of not only the larger predator, but the rain as well. The rain meant bad things, it meant death, it meant the monsters would come out and harm those he loved.

It took a long time for Bramble to not be paralyzed with fear whenever the rain would come down. His mother, always soothing him during periods of rain and assuring him that she was there, was his only saving grace. She promised to keep the monsters away, and she alone made the rain bearable... Now, Bramblespark has hardened; he tries not to let things get to him, doing whatever he can to protect those that he loves just as his mother would always protect him. He does not let anything harm those that are close to him, not anymore.
