Magic craves someone to love, he wants to feel like he belongs with someone but for some unknown reason to himself, the young stallion believes that he will never find it. Not only has Magic never been one to put himself out there, he has quite the shy nature and rarely involves himself with those outside his own small friend and family group; in no way is he a leader and he is more likely to wait for someone to come to him rather than going out a searching for someone who means as much to him as he does to them. Magic desires to feel close to someone but is stuck in the mindset that nobody would love him, he doubts himself to a large extent and often this mindset reflects on how he interacts with others.

Tear use to believe in love, she was so hopefull about it. Sadly she doesn't believe in it anymore but she wishes she did. She use to be in love but it ended, she use to have a mate but one day she was taken away from Tear and Tear has never been the same. She gets angry when someone just talks about love or how they believe in true love. Hopefully one day her belief in love will return and stay for the rest of her life but it might take a while.

what about love? Hendrix sees love as a game and something that he can outsmart with a game plan. He's the coach giving out all of the dating advice while his friends asking for dating advice from a single stallion are the players. The players don't have the game plans like him. He sees a lot of couples get together to only waste their time and break up after a couple of months, which he finds pointless. No, he does not see himself dating just to date and sincerely wants a deep relationship that is permanent. Hendrix's game plan is to wow, woo, and reciprocate to create a cycle of happiness and love. He's willing to put in the work for a relationship as long as it is a two way relationship and not one sided. He's looking for his ride or die and isn't going to make her do all the work but it's a nice feeling knowing that the other half is putting in work too.

Fathom never really felt it he has watched his friends agonize over crushes yet has never felt that same sense of attraction or love for himself. He doesn't really understand is there something wrong with him is this just how he's made. When he watches others struggle and succeed in love and ponders what it feels like to have that strong of a feeling for someone else. He watches the foolish and exaggerated gestures they make his brain wants to write them off as stupid but he's never felt like that so what would he know. Mares and stallions he can acknowledge they are beautiful or attractive yet he still feels nothing. Everyone promises that he will find someone he will feel something yet he can't help but think that they are wrong. Is he too self-absorbed, too cold surely there's something wrong with him? He doesn't know perhaps he is destined to find his joy alone? While Fathom is uncertain of romance he does know he feels love for his friends for his family and maybe that's enough for him.

To her, love is allowing someone completely into you’re life, but Passion is constantly afraid someone will leave it, after her mother passed away when she was still a yearling. She’s watched many horses walk in and out of her life, and can’t fathom the pain that could come from another horse leaving her after giving them her all. Passion is afraid of committing and fully putting herself into a relationship, and she’s afraid that when others see certain, deeper parts of her that they won’t want to be with her anymore. What if she’s not enough? Passion craves love so deeply but can’t bring herself to go for it, and take a leap of faith
