Prompt: spruce has an intense love for christmas trees. decorating her tree is by far the best part of her holiday season. despite her love for trees, however, she never uses a real one. she believes in preserving nature in any way possible, and she also doesn't enjoy the commitment it takes to keep a real tree alive. plus, the one year she tried a real tree, she discovered a family of spiders living inside it.

spruce changes her christmas tree theme every year. the previous year, her tree had a stunning red and gold theme. this holiday season, she plans on going for a whimsical and fun tree with a purple palette. spruce always plans next year's theme 6 months in advance so she has enough time to purchase all the decorations needed. her trees never fail to impress anyone who sees them.
