Saukko Name: Vesta (Meaning in Latin: "Goddess of sacred fire and of the hearth")
Gender: Feminine
Entry: [Moodboard]
Background: Vesta is known as a sneaky Saukko, who uses her gifted deception to her advantage. When hungry birds take shelter in the dense forest Puu Clan calls home that’s when Vesta strikes. Blending in among many of the avian, she stealthily slides their fresh caught fish out of their grasp, disappearing into the thick wilderness. She rarely ever confronts them, but when she does it is usually to con them into giving her their catch. Though it may appear as though Vesta dislikes the feathered creatures, it is quite the opposite. On many occasions, Vesta will return the favor, and on prey abundant days she shares her catches with them, though it is unknown if she steals these preys from others. Vesta enjoys watching the newborn birds mature into adults and helping them along the way, which makes her a well-renowned accomplice to the surrounding flocks. At times Vesta even shares her tree platformed den with some of the avian. Overall, Vesta spends most of her time around neighboring flocks of birds, though she never forgets her loyalty to her clan.
