You see a faint glow through the trees, stumbling through the dark.
You pause and lean on a tree, unsure if you are really seeing it, and
give your dead flashlight another half-hearted whack. It doesn't even
flicker. You take a deep breath and continue weaving through the
trees. It glows brighter, a faint pink against the night air. Just as
you approach the edge of its halo, your flashlight suddenly turns
back on, but this time its vibrant pink in color instead of blue tinted
LED. The hairs along your spine stand on end.

A soft voice sounds from inside a dark purple tent, undistinguishable,
but still seeming to draw you forward. You can see the pink glow
emanating from the entrance. You cautiously step inside. A pink
shadow flit sits against the back of the tent, the flickering pink fire
before her making a large row of crystal teeth glint like tiny
rainbows. Her dark eyes track you, but she does not seem uncertain.
She gestures at you to sit down with her clawed tail, and you don't argue.
She looks somewhat harmless, but something tells you that you should
not judge this book by her cover. Crystals of all kinds hang on strings
around her ears, head, neck, and legs. Various jars full of plants and
other suspicious contents line shelves around the tent, which also
seems 3 times the size it looked from the outside.

"Would you like to know the secrets inside your head?" she asks, her voice quiet, but intimidating.

You feel that refusing would be a bad idea and let this mysterious,
frightening gypsy work her voodoo, even if her intentions do not seem so pure.

it may be argued that swarovski takes his passions too far. backstabbing and betrayal in the name of maintaining his status, cruelty and apathy in the name of financial gain, extreme bodily modification in the name of beauty... he is a man defined fully by extremes and black and white views. if something were to be done in a "mundane" or "dull" fashion he would rather not do it at all. if someone were to displease him with even a minor inconvenience he would behave as if it were the worst thing to ever happen to him, and in a way it is. swarovski lives within instances rather than in the future or the past - emotional permanence simply doesn't exist. every new emotion or experience is always the strongest he's experienced just because those others experience have been lost. that being said, things quickly grow old for him, as the novelty fades off incredibly quickly. new tattoos and piercings are gained on a monthly basis, surgery on a bi-annual. whenever something new comes out he's the first in line and the first to abandon it. some guess swarovski is trying to fill a void in his life with these extravagant, wasteful habits, but in truth he hasn't the slightest idea. a "compulsion" would perhaps be the best way to describe how he feels... or perhaps an "addiction" would be a better term. he simply has a need to have just as strongly as the rest of us have a need to eat or drink.
